We have a new concept we are working on called Battle Bridges and we are also working on Splatoon.

Battle Bridges Information (open) Battle Bridges Information (close)

• There are 2 different teams in which players are divided evenly. Each team is represented by a color and has separate islands.
• Teams initially have 3 minutes to gather resources on their islands, and can craft custom weapons such as:
  • TNT Bows (Crafted with 8 TNT and one bow): Shoots TNT that will explode after 3 seconds of launch, damages 5 hearts on hit and affects land (8 shots)
  • Mines (Crafted with 3 iron and 3 TNT): Placed and will explode when anyone steps on it, killing them and affects land (one time use)
  • Bombs (Crafted with 3 string and 3 TNT): Placed and will explode 10 seconds after being placed, damaging anyone in 10 block radius 9 hearts and affects land (one time use)
  • Canyons (Crafted with 8 iron blocks and 1 TNT): Shoot like TNT bows but with longer ranges and kill anyone they hit, massive land destruction. (5 shots)
• The goal is for each team to conquer each others bases, by having 3 players stay in the enemy base for one

Welcome back to The MeepTimes, the monthly update to keep the community in the loop with what’s new, behind the scenes, and in the works.​

Let’s Get To What Everyone Is Here For, MeepCraft will be relaunching May 19th!
After a 2-year absence, MeepCraft will be making a return better than ever in 1.19 with old features and minigames such as the bank, Halo, and Boomo! Every aspect of the server has been upgraded, which is summarized here. Since it has been a while, you can catch up with old Meepers here!​

The Return of Towny Classic
The 2017-2021 towny world will be making a return with a completely overhauled economy. Players will be able to play in their own towns just as they last left them.

The Return of Halo (Beta)
The FPS minigame inspired by the video game is making a return with many updates and tweaks.

The Return of Boomo (Beta)
MeepCraft's original explosive minigame is back.

The Return of Parkour
Parkour is back and better than ever! Enjoy one of our 30+ original maps including classics such as City, Chillroom, and Planet!

The Spawn Update
Terrarium, TNTRun, The Gold Bank, Mob Arena, Admin Shop, Casino, Creepers on Ice, and Mazes will be coming to Meep.

A New Jobs System
The Jobs system has been redone to add fun new game-changing perks that can be unlocked through leveling up jobs! This new system will be fun for casual and hardcore players alike.

Economy Deflation
All players/towns with a balance above $10 million will have their balances set back to $10 million, this will result in a 44% deflation to even the playing field on launch.

QOL
We have made a ton of quality-of-life changes to provide a polished experience for all, these have been tested by over 100 users who participated in our Open Beta.

Social Media Campaign
We will start actively posting and advertising on social media again. We will be launching this campaign through @Fuzzlr's company Otis AI. This will bring in an influx of new players!

Donor Rank Changes
Thanks to your extensive feedback we have improved donor ranks. Current donors will receive all of the old perks they had and improved/additional perks. Additionally, we are adding a new rank, Guardian - available for all to purchase - with more new perks.

New Staff System
All staff members will have the same tag and chat color. While staff will still have their specializations internally, all staff members will be able to help you in game, and enforce rules.

A1: Adrian, who are you?

Q2: What are you looking forward to the most with the relaunch of MeepCraft?
A2: I am really looking forward to seeing everyone come back, and catching up with everyone. It's crazy to say but it has been nearly 3 years since I have last talked to a majority of people on the server!

Q3: What is the first thing you are going to do when you log back in?
A3: Hoping to get Legend back up and running! I also plan on running some events right after launch!

Q4: What is something you've been working on and how does it tailor to Meep's success?
A4: I was in charge of the development side of this relaunch. Development was challenging because we had a very small team, with some very big goals. We decided to take our time, as well as opening beta testing to everyone so we could deliver a polished final result with all of the features people want to see! We really hope everyone enjoys the final product!

Q5: What have you been up to outside of Meep during this downtime?
A5: A lot - still in school, though!

A6: Viper fan can only count to 8

A2: Looking forward to seeing new and old faces.

Q3: What is the first thing you are going to do when you log back in?
A3: Hide an easter egg. Who knows what you'll win when you find it? (Probably a stack of dirt.)

Q4: What is something you've been working on and how does it tailor to Meep's success?
A4: I've maintained the servers, worked on database pooling, resolved a few forum issues, and generally provided advice to the staff team, among other things. I hope that my behind-the-scenes work makes Meep just a little more enjoyable for the relaunch.

Q5: What have you been up to outside of Meep during this downtime?
A5: Been all over the place, working in infosec and blockchain fields. Moved to NYC for a bit, then moved again to Massachusetts. Livin' life.

A2: Being back in Lemonville but also Parkour and seeing everyone in game again!

A3: Probably see if I can put the 1.19 blocks to use in Lemonville (there's a theme here).

Q4: What is something you've been working on and how does it tailor to Meep's success?
A4: my use of the :uegg: emoji to Lord

Q5: What have you been up to outside of Meep during this downtime?
A5: Mostly focusing on my work and my career! Also been playing on an SMP with a couple of friends which has been great with getting to know the new updates. I've been doing a lot of reading, and generally just having a relaxing break.

I've also been going to an archery club for the past 6 months which has been super fun, I'm really enjoying that.

A6: Lemonville is the greatest (that's not a secret I'm just bragging)

Q2: What are you looking forward to the most with the relaunch of MeepCraft?
A2: The heart of Meepcraft has always been the people. The community and the constant social interaction that everyone had with one another is what makes Meepcraft such a unique outlet to play on to get away from the real world. To me personally I'm not nearly as interested in Minecraft as I was compared to when I was a kid, but I never lost interest in people I have met and that is what fueled my motivation to want to stay apart of this community. It's so crazy to me because people I used to play with when I was 12 or 13 I have met in real life after years and they have become close friends of mine purely from the coincidence of living close to each other and sharing the same childhood nostalgia of this server. After so much time passing from first joining the server and meeting so many people along the way, it's the fact that I have still stayed in contact with a good majority after a decade of first meeting them. That is something that truly encapsulates the uniqueness meepcraft has as compared to modern gaming where it feels like it has taken away that social aspect that older games use to have back in the day.

Q4: What is something you've been working on and how does it tailor to Meep's success?
A4: I believe everyone has the ability to contribute to Meep's success just by being apart of the community. The ability for everyone to provide their honest insight and opinions while bouncing ideas off of everyone at once overall is what has made Meep successful in the past and I feel it can do the same thing now. Me personally, being welcome on the staff team has given me the opportunity to truly contribute some good to the server when I have done a lot of the opposite in the past and I think now we are at a point where we can make Meep back at a spot it was in the past when it was at its peak with everything working and all of the old minigames and gimmicks present, and then build on top of that with new and innovative additions that can further grow Meep's popularity.

Q5: What have you been up to outside of Meep during this downtime?
A5: Honestly I just be working and enjoying life for what it is. Being an adult comes with a lot of responsibilities but also allows for a lot more freedom to do what I really want to do. It's nice and definitely has its ups and downs but that's just how life is. I don't really be playing video games not nearly as much as I used to when I was a teenager, just more from losing interest and modern gaming lowkey falling off to me but I'm glad with the relaunch of Meep I can talk to old friends again and still be apart of a server and community that I have known most of my life from first joining when I was just a kid.

A6: I'm an open book so I asked chatgpt this question and this was its response:

Q2: What are you looking forward to the most with the relaunch of MeepCraft?
A2: Definitely the launch of the new Jobs; we have a ton of future features that we plan to add that will really enhance the endgame gameplay of jobs, and provide us with (hopefully) infinite content.

Q3: What is the first thing you are going to do when you log back in?
A3: Try to ban myself

Q4: What is something you've been working on and how does it tailor to Meep's success?
A4: I've been working mainly on the Jobs and Eco Revamp, which I think is gonna tie in really nicely with a lot of the new features we have added and plan to add. It'll be a total revamp of the core mechanics of the eco, and I think players are definitely going to have fun discovering all the changes.

Q5: What have you been up to outside of Meep during this downtime?
A5: I have started college and am currently in my second year, with a major in Finance. I do however miss grinding jobs during high school classes on Zoom.
