To provide context: I was fooled for maybe 3 seconds, then I laughed, as most people did during the time of this log. I was under no impression this player made any actual attempts at impersonating anything, so your reference to me is incorrect, misinformative.

 

I may not be staff, but I'll answer anyway:

1. Most if not all people who have seen your name believed you were Courtney at first sight.
2. With a good 1000 different players on throughout each day, it's difficult to keep track of every single person's rank by memory. Courtney was Elite at one point, and got Ultimate during her run as Helper iirc. People also lose ranks occasionally, e.g. DancingCactus.
3. Courtney is, as controversial as it may be, staff again.
4. The first two things you said as CourtneyMitchel:

Both of these can in a (somewhat stereotypical) way imply that you are Courtney.

If you are not aware that Courtney is a staff member, that's not our problem, it's yours.
It is also a large issue if people attempt to message Courtney. They could send potentially private information to you, unknowingly.
All in all, there was no reason for you to change your name but to troll.

 

as i said i logged on to see if my town had enough to survive 2 i told courtney i would do this before i went afk for 3 days and everyone would know its not me because im elite so i did it as a joke but then realized that she was helper after it happen so i talked to her and she said to change it in 30 days. and when i first logged on i said wheres my ultimate as a joke because i thought she was ult the only way she could of been elite is if scrubs chargedback so obviously i wasn't her

all msgs going to courtney go to her even if u type /msg courtneymitchel u can only talk to me through /r or if the helper courtney is offline . and how would i have know if courtney was helper she had resigned weeks ago and i dont know any promotions unless i see the person online which i had not for some time

 

i had not played meep for 3 days and well i told courtz id change my name so i could be a fangurl and everyone knew i wasn't courtney because 1 im not utlimate or helper 2 the l is dropped
