    I was kinda on the fence regarding abortion for awhile, simply because the Pro-life side does make some very good points. As part of a persuasive speech for English, I was pro-choice, while another girl in my class was pro-life. After hearing what she had to say, I understood her line of thought, but simply didn't think that way. That's why I think abortion is still such a hotly-debated issue in the U.S, because of how it sometimes comes down to personal moral principles.

    Unless it's life-threatening, abortion shouldn't be an option. You can just put the child up for adoption instead of slaughtering it. Why should the child pay the ultimate price for your mistakes?
