Man that sarcasm bit really got to you, didn't it.

It isn't so much that everyone else is okay and can use it, it's more like you're the one making an issue about it. That and I skimmed pretty hardcore.

Nobody said easy, but it should be liveable.

You should try doing it, might change your view

. . . umm Alaska is much much much larger than Washington D.C so 700k people in Alaska is "hardly anyone" compared to the 620k people in Washington DC. thats the size of someones pinkie finer tip.

No its aggravating to be called out on something, especially because you disagree with me. When everyone else is doing it. Either
    1.)Talk about the subject
2.) don't make stupid comments that literally have nothing to do with the debate
    or
3.) tag everyone / quote everyone who does it!

Daniel said you should be able to afford wifi because it'll make your life "easier"
and $10 for minimum wage is a livable wage.

You understand this policy applied singularly to Cuba, and only because we wanted their population to leave and come here, to weaken Cuba?

Yup, just informing you. He stopped the practice as a olive branch to Cuba.

You have absolutely no clue what the actual cost of living is. Cost of living has made $10 ridiculously hard to live on.

Because if your an adult and your trying to live off flipping burgers you screwed up somewhere. Minimum wage jobs are NOT intended for people to live off of. If you want to have a job that you live off of, maybe don't flip burgers.
Neither does infowars, but this isn't any sort of formal debate.
You would go nuts in canada.
    Obama did.

Or maybe instead of trying to live off the lowest legally possible amount of money he could make he could go to school and get a good education and encourage others to do so, not promise everyone that they should live off flipping burgers.
You need to work to have a good wage. You do not deserve a good wage for work that isn't good.

That was more directed at immigrants. However, I believe the same statements apply. Some people just get dealt really shitty hands and can't go to school and get better jobs.

I don't really care if you "want" millions of dollars. I care what you have worked for and earned in the marketplace of labor. If you have no skills, you will get unskilled labor. Unskilled labor won't make very much money, because in the ideal society you have an absolutely free market. While i'm not enough of an ideologue to claim we should go to a completely libertarian utopia, I think keeping it as "free" as possible is a good thing. A minimum wage is good, a government required base income isn't.
Thats why I support welfare programs designed to help people who weren't born into privilege. The solution isn't giving people 30k a year for unskilled labor.

If you could earn 30k a year flipping burgers, what would the motivation be to get other skilled jobs (that contribute to society more) that pay the same? Why would you join the army? Or become a teacher? It wouldn't make sense. The result of a 15$ minimum wage would be either inflation, because people would have more money so things would get more expensive and we would be in the same bucket we are now, or people would just stop taking jobs where you have to have skills that earn 30k~

(Its really late where I am right now and i'm really sleep deprived so if what i'm saying is complete gibberish I apologize in advance.)

I see where you are coming from but a lot of welfare programs penalize people that earn slightly above minimum wage but still not enough to survive.

    Read below.
Migrant can be everyone, regardless of legal or illegal entry.

George W Bush did, they only became known during Obama's term.

Didn't say anything about beating you up, you just assumed that.

First off, didn't say that it's liveable I said the safe line over poverty line is. Didn't say you have to afford wifi, I said it is essential to have. Also (can't get the thing about the rules, on my phone) you have pretty much broken each rule of that as well, you should not be the person to make rules they already broke. Plus stop replying to things that YOU CAN judge, because you can think of a comeback. And this is why everyone judges you.
Nastu: "See I think it's not overly necessary to increase the minimum wage" Implying their thoughts on the matter and not be bias, judgy or picky.
Marlin: "That is ridiculous, do you really think that would work or know how America works?" Implying that you know more than everyone else, being bias and judging others, literally insult others to seem better than everyone.
So that's the difference and the reason why I am still debating with you on the matter in a negative way to you, because you have in fact said "I will accept you, IF you have the same thoughts and beliefs I have." That is purposely preventing free speech and belief itself. So unless you find some way to speak up about this (which you most likely won't for this one, because you guessed it, won't win on the quote).

    My very 1st comment:
    What you said I said"
    Natsu's very 1st comment:
    What you said he said:

The only difference in what we said was simply the fact that I added in "you get out what you put in" and some other things about people being lazy and not wanting to fix the hole in their own boat but instead wanting someone to give them a better boat.

you also say that I am not open to change and or other peoples opinions. When I 1st started this debate I said $8 max, then I realized "oh wait, maybe $8 is kind of low" and now I moved it tp no more then $10 an hour.

    Anyway,

They can still by food off of $10 an hour, just not that fancy food.

I think welfare (food stamps) should be like it was 15-20 years ago. You get a wood box with butter, peanut butter, powdered milk, a load of bread, block of cheese. Not this debit card crap.

    Migrants:
Legal - immigrant (possibly a citizen after I believe 5 years?)
    Illegal - Alien

    Please explain,

idk how it is in Australia but in America when you tell someone "Let me meet you one time and teach you a lesson" it means to beat their a**.

FYI, I have mentioned it on my application that YOU Dragged in.

Meanwhile in Australia, most of us do mean that way, I almost always mean literal debate with you in real life.

Oh I love it, I actually set that trap and you fell for it. Thanks for proving my point of "anything you can get a comeback" by answering that quote Marlin.

I'm really confused but 700,000 people is a lot of people and I think they matter so I like Alaska

And federal minimum wage should not be increased. Local cities should increase minimum wages corresponding to current living costs, but not a ridiculous amount. Give people education, not a few more dollars
