When did you join Meepcraft? August 19th, 2013

Introduction: Hello Meepcraft! You all probably know me by now, but I am Bob4444444. As stated above, I am 14 years of age and I have been playing Meepcraft for almost two years now. Meepcraft has been such a great experience for me, and it's been an honor to be staff twice now.

Now enough of that, more about me. Outside of Meepcraft, I participate in many activities. I've played piano for five and a half years, and I am still taking lessons today. I play some sports like basketball, golf, and a couple others. I did a robotics team for three years with the program First but sadly cannot continue due to the fact that I am entering high school. This concludes most of my activities, now to my Meepcraft life.

Like I've stated above, I joined Meepcraft August 19th, 2013. Ever since the day I've joined the entire journey has been a blast, especially all the people I've met and all the friends I have made. As I've stated above, I've been staff twice now here, and I have a lot of experience because of it.

I'm a co-mayor in the alpha town Butterland and I am a mayor in my beta town Port Charles. In both towns I strive to help the residents as much as possible and try to give them the best experiences they could get here. As much as I enjoy doing this, being able to help all the people on the server instead of just my residents would be such a great opportunity for me, and it would be such a gift to do so!

I'm now here, once more, applying for staff and hoping to be accepted for a third time and help the server and its staff team as much as I can.

Why should you be Helper?

Activity- Since it is Summer and I am only 14, I have a lot of time to be on Meepcraft. Recently I've been on Meepcraft for hours after hours everyday on all aspects of the server. Since I am very active on the server, I will be able to do a lot of staff work and I would be able to help out the server a lot. I have access to the forums and Teamspeak whenever I have my phone, and I have minechat downloaded too. But I am out of school right now, so I have my computer a lot too. Due to my high activity, I will be able to perform my role as a staff member and be a good staff member in the process.

Dedication- I have been playing Meepcraft for almost two years now, and it's been an absolute blast. I love Meepcraft, and I don't plan to leave it anytime soon. Meepcraft is like a second family to me, and I dedicate my time to my family. I don't just dedicate my time to Meepcraft; I dedicate myself to Meepcraft. I give Meepcraft my love, and to all its players. Meepcraft means a lot to me, and so I am very dedicated to it and the community. My number one goal being dedicated to Meepcraft is to try to get people to love the server, and to make them feel like this is a home, like I do. Being so dedicated to the server, I feel that this will help me be a great staff member.

Involvement- I try to be involved as much as possible with the community. One of the best ways to do that is Teamspeak. I know I'm not as involved on Teamspeak as I used to be, but I still try to be very involved. I go on Teamspeak everyday, and I usually start by just talking to a few people. Then, gradually, more and more people come into the channel, and I start talking with everyone in the group. I love being involved in Teamspeak when I am, and it's a blast talking to everyone. Ingame I try to shout a lot. When I'm not doing something in the game, I try to talk to the community and help the people who need assistance that I can see. I love being involved in shout, it's great talking to all the people who are on Meep! For forums, I try to be involved by just talking to people, looking at threads, leaving people profile messages, and more. Being involved on the forums gives me the chance to meet everyone more in depth, and I love being involved with people on the forums, and some even become your friends. In conclusion, I am very involved here, and I really love being involved within the community.

Work Ethic- When being a staff member, it is very important to have a strong work ethic. Luckily, I do have a strong work ethic. If I start anything, such as a simple question to the most complicated modreq, I try my hardest to get it finished and to make the player happy to the best of my abilities. When I was staff before, helpers had to do a minimum of 10 modreqs a day. I always tried my hardest to have a well over average modreq count and work the hardest I could. I know it's the quality not the quantity, but with the modreqs I always tried to solve them to the best of my abilities, doing whatever I could do to make the player satisfied. I always put the player before myself, and I will always try my best that at the end of the day, the players I've dealt with are very satisfied players and continue to play on the server.

Experience- Like I've said above, I've been staff twice here now, I even made it all the way to the moderator rank at one point. The past two times of me being staff have taught me a lot, and I have really learned so much from it. I know most staff commands, from /kick or /check all the way to Prism, besides any new things that have been added. Even though I haven't been staff for quite awhile now, I still remember how to use Prism. Lots of people could have experience, but to remember how to do the job is even better. I remember how the system works, the basic staff rules, and all that. When I got staff last time, all that happened was that I was added to staff chat and given my rank. I had to do it all on my own, and I did pretty well as a staff member. With all this experience, this surely would make me a stronger helper if accepted, and a greater candidate while applying.

What are your weaknesses?

Immaturity- As a 14 year old kid, my immaturity gets the best of me sometimes, and always has affected me. When I've been staff, I've learned to control my immaturity. I've always learned when and where I can be immature and when and where I cannot. But now I'm older, and I have a lot more control over my immaturity. My maturity has grown since I first joined and when I've been staff in the past. I've looked back at the mistakes I've made being immature and now I feel that this will barely if at all affect me as a staff member.

Self-Control- There are some times where I lose control of myself and do stupid things, and it ends up getting me in a bad spot. Over time, I've learned to control myself more and more, but sometimes it really affects me. I have matured, but that doesn't mean it's completely gone. Here's an example. I had my last staff interview, and I wasn't really prepared to be denied. So after I was denied, I just got so furious, and I don't even know why. I said some stuff that I shouldn't have, and I highly regret doing so. Then, Deinen talked to me and he really helped calm me down. I've learned then that things won't always go my way, and when they don't, I have to handle it in stride. I have learned from that and all my other mistakes I've made through this weakness and reflected on them. I fe I have mostly gotten over this weakness and I feel confident this will not affect me for the most part, if at all.

Not Thinking before taking action- I've made a lot of mistakes in my past with this weakness, and it has lead to my downfalls. When I first got staff again, I was very ban happy and draw to conclusions very quickly. I didn't talk it over with the player, just ban ban ban. Then (once again this important figure comes), Deinen notices this and starts to talk to me about it, telling me about what I did wrong and how to fix it. I also heard a lot about it on my moderator application. I worked on this issue greatly, and eventually I resolved it. Sadly though, I have still made many decisions without thinking, such as the last interview thing I talked about, an incident with another server (look below for more details), and a whole lot of stuff. But now, I really try to think more before doing and saying, and try to understand the player or situation without jumping to conclusions. I have also learned to think about some other things and situations that could lead me into bad positions in the future. I feel that this weakness isn't as effective as it used to be and shouldn't affect me much as a staff member, once again, if at all.

I've done some pretty stupid stuff in my past, but now, I am an age older, more mature, and now capable of handling a situation like this without anything bad happening. I am no longer associated with the server that was the reason for my ban, and this situation should never happen again. The server is now shut down anyway, and I have no interest in working for any other server than Meepcraft. If you have any questions or concerns, please address them here or private message me.

Mistakes I made as staff last time:

I've already discussed these issues in depth on my previous application so I am going to address them briefly just so I can assure you that I know what wrong I did and that I've learned from my mistakes.

When I was staff last time, I had a few very close friends on the team. We pretty much separated ourselves from the team and were a "clique". We weren't good example as staff members, and we didn't do the right thing and be together with all staff members. I've learned from that to not just be isolated from a whole team with only my friends, but to be apart of the team, to be one with the team. Being separated from the team was a huge mistake, and I assure you it will never, EVER happen again.

As a staff member last time, I wasn't a great example for the community sometimes where I had to be, and I wasn't a good role model the players were supposed to look up to. I was mature a lot, doing what I was supposed to do. But sometimes, I didn't always do the right thing. In some situations I needed to act mature and I didn't do that. I would perform very stupid actions, and I wasn't the person the community was supposed to look up to. I wasn't being a good example as a staff member, and it wasn't a good thing that I did. But now, I have learned from what I have done and reflected on it. I have learned I need to control myself more often and be mature when I need to be, no matter what. Finally, I've learned that if I'm tempted to do something dumb or immature, just let it stay inside of you and leave it at that.

Conclusion: Thank you to everybody to has looked into this application. I have taken many months now to realize all the things I have done wrong. Now after all this time I feel that I am finally 100% ready to once again rejoin the Meepcraft Staff team! All constructive criticism and feedback is greatly appreciated!
