You're almost at your one-and-a-half year anniversary (at least on the forums), and I think we can all agree that you have had your rough spots. You applied for Helper during those times and were met by a shower of -1 (and worse) votes, but you've stayed and matured here, something that shows your determination (which I don't believe should be mistook for desperation; you just really enjoy playing here and want to be staff, which is obvious). You're not a "rankist" player (as far as that idea goes), but you're a kind guy who genuinely, and excuse the word here, wants to help.

As far as your recent post history on the forums (I haven't seen much of you in-game, but from what I have seen you haven't done anything wrong), you've been an excellent citizen, helping out and being nice wherever you've went. Honestly, there isn't much more for me to write about, and others have put their reasons above. I think you know what my vote will be, but if you don't, this is a +1. I mean, you got @SpiderAttitude to like you, and he doesn't change with his opinions of people that much. (Hee hee.)

First off, you're two reasons are awful. You first tell me that I'm wrong because you ASSUME something else. In other words, you said something similar to this, "You're wrong because I think this happened, I don't have proof, but I'm sure this happened." If you're going to comment of the validity of my statements, please refrain in including assumptions in that response. Of course, I don't have proof that Misterbacon has paid for his rank, but the likelyhood of an Ultimate paying for their rank is higher than a player just buying their rank with the in game currency. Second, if you really believe that donating doesn't play even a small part in getting staff, then you're, again, wrong. If you were a company, who would you want to hire as a manager? A man (or woman, your pick) who has invested money into the company? Or someone who hasn't? If you are competent at running a company, then you would of, have course, picked the man or woman that has invested in the company, because they have something to lose if they screw up. And THIRD, no where did I say he should get staff because he has donated, I said because he donated, there's less of a chance of him screwing up.

 

Helping in shout is only for "simple stuff" like "How do you add a friend?" "/res friend add" or "How do I invite someone to a town?" "/t add" It's very overrated on applications due to the fact that it's only what other players see from the applicant. However, some people (iMelXP, PlazmaChaos, Misterbacon, and I have been known to do this) actually /tpa and helped players with more complex issues, such as "help! My stuff fell down a cliff! help!" or "Help! perms aren't working" or "Help! hacker in kitpvp!"
In all honesty, ^ helps a lot more than a simple one-word answer in shout as it really speaks to your dedication to helping others--doing the little things for new players that nobody sees--as opposed to being active in shout only so staff members +1 your app.

Alright, comment time. First I would like to say +1. I support Misterbacon's for three reasons. One, He's friendly to new players as far as I can tell, which is pretty rare for an Ultimate. I'm not saying he's running around giving citizens hugs and giving out free meebles, but he's willing to help a new player when he can. Two, He's a donator, $300 dollars at that, so if he really screws up (which won't happen) he'll lose $300 dollars out of it, so if you're looking for someone who won't screw the server over, he's your guy (well including other people, but let's not go into that ) Third, he's been on meepcraft for a long time, longer than me, showing his dedication. Sure he's had some bumps here and there, but he's made up for it with kindness. He's even promoted citizens to town assistants to help out on his town. Just how there are good things about someone, there are negative things about Misterbacon. He's immature (yet mature for his age), which turns into a positive as well. Since he's 13, he'll be able to connect with most new players coming into meepcraft (on average we have kids coming into meepcraft aged 12-15). Afterall, right now we need helpers that can connect with new players and help them along their way in meepcraft, the current helpers (don't get me wrong, I love you all, maybe a bit too much :3)

When did you join Meepcraft? 25th of February, 2015

Introduction: Hello! You all probably know me by now, but I am MisterBacon. As stated above, I am 13 years old, I have been playing MeepCraft for nearly 2 years now. MeepCraft has been such a great experience for me as I was with it with its ups and downs.
More about me, I am a guitarist and I love playing video games, obviously. I also enjoy reading books, surfing on the internet and read poetry. I have two sibling, my dad is a businessman likewise my mother. I thought I had to say this as I wanted to delve further of who and what I am. Some say I am a fast typer, it’s because I have the typing speed of 135 WPM. I participate in many activities, I have helped people in the church youth and I have been a part of the charity before. I also attend Leadership trainings and I learned a lot of stuff above it especially being a leader.
As stated above, I joined MeepCraft nearly 2 years ago, For an exact date it was February 25, 2015. Ever since the day I’ve joined the server, It has been such a great experience. I have learned moral lessons and some of it is because of MeepCraft. I haven’t been staff before but I am striving to be a part of the staff team someday.
I’m a mayor in the beta town Grandeur. I don’t have a town at alpha yet. Grandeur is a huge and massive town that is being worked on and I am so proud of myself that I have dedicated most of my time to this town. Our goal is to be one of the best towns out there on MeepCraft someday!

Once again, I am here trying to apply for staff and hoping to be accepted and help the server and its staff team with the best I can.

Why should you be Helper? Activity – I have a lot of extra time on MeepCraft. Recently, I might be a little bit inactive it’s because of I had some issues at school but for now, I am sustaining my activity once again and interact with the community longer than before. Since I am very active on the server, I will be able to do a lot of staff work, as long as I am online, I am online on all of the aspects of the server including the forums and teamspeak. I also have skype and minechat downloaded at my phone, sadly I can’t download teamspeak as I don’t have a credit card. I also have my personal laptop which means that I can be on anytime I want. Due to my high activity, I would be able to perform my role as a staff member and be a good and try to be one of the best staff members in the process.

Dedication – I have been on the server for no more than 18 months now and it’s been a great experience. Seeing different players and interacting at the community is such a great and lovely experience. I fell in love at MeepCraft since I joined. I dedicate most of my time to MeepCraft. I give MeepCraft my love and to the community itself. Being a dedicated member, I feel this would help me be a great staff member.

Work ethic - Helping people is what drives me, If I see that I made someone happy, inside I am very happy and proud of myself. Being a staff member is to have a strong work ethic, and I say I have the quality of this. When it comes to modreqs, I won’t base at the quantity but to the quality. After helping someone I will ask them if there’s anything else I can do, I will try my best to help them and make them happy once more and do their regular doings. I always try to help out and reach out players via /msg and the global chat. I tend to help them more on global chat on commands but sometimes I would teleport to them and help them myself. Even to the most complicated questions, I will try my best to finish and solve the problem.

Involvement – I try my best to be involved as much as possible with the community. One thing to do that is Teamspeak, I am on Teamspeak regularly/daily as this is the place where I could speak on the spot and interact more and easier to the community. I usually start just talking to a few people, Then moments will pass, more and more people will join in the channel and I would gladly talk to them. In game, I try my best to interact and be involved with the community to, I use global chat a lot. When I don’t have something to do, I will stay at spawn and try to help out newbies and get them a town to live in so that they won’t be trolled or their hard worked items will be griefed at the wild (As some use wild as their home). I am also online at the Forums regularly, If I am not in game, you would probably see me online at forums starting a thread, posting, commenting on some posts and a lot more that I can be involved on to the community. In conclusion, I am very involved at the community and I love being involved at the community and the server itself.

Experience – I may don’t have yet experience being a staff member even once at MeepCraft, but I have been staff to some servers before, but I didn’t last long because of the server having low funds and sadly, some shut downs. But from my relationships to other staff members, I know some staff commands and I know what it feels like to be staff, it might be hard and busy but I know, I will really enjoy it and it’s one of the best things to do, is to give back at the server and the community. I don’t have any experience using Prism but I would gladly like to learn more on it though. I am always eager to learn when it comes to this. With this experience, this would make me a a great candidate and a good staff member.

What are your weaknesses? Immaturity - I am just 13, and most of you know that young kids like me, would be Immature at times. I always tend to control my immaturity most of the time I am at MeepCraft, I always try to watch and think what I do, my actions and what I say in shout. Being on MeepCraft for this long, I can control my immaturity and be more serious at times. I say, I have changed a lot based from my first application. I may have made some mistakes at the past, and I have learned a lot based from those mistakes and I would gladly not do it again.

Self-control – There would be those times where I could not control myself and do such stupid things and it ends me up in trouble. Over time, I have learned to control myself more and more, but sometimes it would still get the best of me. I have matured, and that can be true, but that doesn’t mean that I can control myself most of the time, as stated above, I am a 13 year old kid and I tend to have some fun. I have learned from those mistakes that I did on the past, I am more confident now that I have got rid of this weakness and I won’t affect me being a staff member.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I would just like to thank you all for considering and reading my application. It has been a good (nearly) 2 years of trying to be a part of the staff team. I know for the fact that great power comes with great responsibility. Once again, I thank and love you all!

After the 1 - 2 years of him being here and applying for helper I always gave him a -1 for reasons. This time I believe he has changed since the first time I've met him. I thought he was just another attention seeking skrub who was desperate for staff, but after a while I noticed he has changed to a better player. I believe he could be a good helper.

Sorry for giving you a rough time, you'd changed a lot since the first time I've met you.

Hello gummibirr. I have known you for a long time. Although I have not played on meepcraft for quite a while now, I think I know you well enough to have some form of input on your app.

I first met you you when I joined your town, helped you quite a bit with it, and became assistant. I did this for about 2 weeks or so, and thought that we were rather close friends (I don't remember this too well as this was well over a year ago). Shortly after this, either I left, quit, or got banned for a month or so (I don't remember which). After this, I returned, talked to you, and realized that you had forgotten me and did not seem at all care what or how I was doing. So, I didn't interact with you for a few months. Later on, when I interacted with you, you were crude, focused on gaining meebles and seemed to only really interact with me when you needed help with something. I also recall you killing me while I was in your underground meepmall project (the one that failed) without proper warning as well as one of your associates for the reason being (he told me) most likely that he had your head. Later, you came to me asking for help with pvp. All my interactions with you have lead me to believe that you are backstabbing and power hungry-- especially because of all of your helper apps. I do not feel that you are fit for helper at all due to what I have observed from your actions. However, I have not interacted with you for about 2 months or so, so you may have drastically changed. My opinion, however, is that you are not fit for helper and I am giving you a definitive -1.
