Introduction:
Note: Even though I have only been fully active on the server again for a few weeks, please take into account that I would not apply if I did not intend to stick around. I would enjoy an active role within the community, which is why I am now giving it another shot.
Thank you!
Hello, Reader!
My name is Sean otherwise known as Sqreix in-game. I am a sixteen years old teenager, turning seventeen this upcoming September, and I am about to start my Senior High School this June with a track related to Computer Technology. My hobbies include playing video games, watching movies or series, reading fictional e-books, and anime, though what I enjoy most of all is helping other people. And for that reason, I was chosen and elected Vice President of our Student Council and President of our Multimedia Society Club, which has been awarded for being the most active club in the school this school year (2017-2018). My entire family also involves itself in our community events, too! For example, in the Christmas season, we hand out food to the children and do a raffle to entertain the parents, where we also serve food to eat during Christmas Day, such as spaghetti, loaf breads, and much more.
Although I have many, one of my favorite hobbies is gaming. I first began playing video games at the young age of just four years old, when my friends introduced me to the video game “WarCraft III: Frozen Throne”. A fun fact about me is that, with a lot of practise, I reached an average typing speed on a keyboard of 130 words per minute, sometimes reaching 160!
My journey on Meepcraft began some four years ago, in February of 2014. All that time has allowed me to acquire server experience, which I deem will be useful during my time as a staff member, should I be accepted. Although there have been a few major changes and revisions over the years I’ve played here, Towny is still my favourite server on Meepcraft!
Why should you be Helper?
I always liked helping others, and make them feel like they were a part of my own family. Being the leader of a large Grand Theft Auto Faction, I always help my members to get along. I did this by creating an event where I gathered the players together, in order to create a bonding and camaraderie within our Faction. I also organized plans to create promotional trailers so our Faction could gain fame and get the attention of other players wanting a more thrilling experience.
I have been a member of this community for more than four years now. Despite all these years, I always try to better myself and help other members of the community. To my appreciation, I became a dedicated member of Meep’s community. I was twelve when I first filed an application, though despite my best efforts, I was denied. I had poor skills in speaking English, as well as typing correctly . Because of this, I was criticized and bullied for my lack of vocabulary. Some called me names, and it affected me, which is why I decided that I would better my English grammar, and here I am today. This decision just proves to myself that I am capable of doing whatever I set my mind to, no matter what the situation is.
I have learned countless things related to moderation from many different video game servers. Over my previous experiences, I have learnt many things, such as dedication, perseverance, and patience. I deem that communication is the key to the success of a great community.
Taking polls, answering questions and assisting players are all really important, too, and I do believe that when it comes to problem solvings or explanations, I have some experience that could better the team.
As I previously mentioned, every time I help someone, I feel satisfied knowing I have helped improve their player experience. Indeed, they could be somehow confused and angry if they are encountering a big issue, though I always try my best to calmly assist every player seeking help. I know that every time I help someone, it benefits the both of us as it brings joy to each other.
As we all know that being a staff member is not all about having fun, gaining fame, and perhaps even power. For me, it is something honorable, as you give up your free time to assist the players and give someone a good server experience. It is the best opportunity to be a role model and a good example to the community and to the players of the server.
Most of the players of this community have never let me down throughout the long time I have been on this server. I have met so many different people with diverse personalities and cultures. I am certain that I would be dedicated and willing to spare most of my time to help out the community.
I am a very patient young man. My father works as a businessman in our city, and I have had the opportunity to be a part of his business for a while, now. I was trained to deal with people who were older than I was and do conduct business transactions with people. I have certainly pulled out some experience from that, too! I have learnt that one must have good communication skills in order to grasp the attention of another.
I can positively say that I will always try my best and calmly assist players when it comes to moderating and would do everything I could to help everyone, should I be accepted. While I do know quite a few commands and plugins, I am always eager to learn more, especially when it comes to these things. I will do my best and use all of the learnings I could gather to its fullest extent for the good of the people, and the community itself.
While dealing with angry players like I have dealt with in the past - and I am sure I will see again, I deem the most important key components to be in a calm demeanor, as well as treating others with equality in all aspects. First and foremost, what I tend to do in these kind of situations, is gain control by calming players down, in order to keep things proficient, and to talk about the necessary terms that have to be discussed. While I am aware that Administration have other things to handle than small in-game issues, I always consider myself a team player. In the event that I do not know something, I am more than happy to ask someone more experienced than I am for help.
Ultimately, here is a list of the different aspects of my personality that I think make me qualified to be a member of MeepCraft’s Staff team.
Dedication – I’ve enjoyed most of my time on this server, and from the start to the present day, I have dedicated a lot of my spare time to this server, which I love. I believe that being a dedicated member of the community would enable me to excel in the Staff team.
Work Ethic – As stated above, assisting people is what satisfies and drives me. If I assisted someone, I am satisfied and I feel proud of myself. Being a helper on this server is to have a strong work ethic, and I do believe I possess this quality. While tackling modreqs, I think I would not focus on the quantity too much, but rather the quality. I try my best to help them and also satisfy them, and even to the most complicated question or issue, I try my best to finish and solve it.
Activity – I always have spare time for the server. I am active in all aspects of the server, including the forums and the Discord server. I also have Skype installed on my computer. Like a lot of us, I have my very own laptop and personal computer which means I can be online anytime as long as my schedule is open. I believe that my activity will play a big role in my success as a staff member.
Involvement – I always do my best to get involved on Meep. One way I do it is Discord and Forums. I am on forums and Discord on a regular basis as this is the place where I could interact with the community. In game, I try my best to interact and be involved in the community too. Therefore, I believe I am greatly involved within the community.
Determination – I am determined person. I had my rough spots on Meep when I first joined, but I decided to stay and better myself. Something that shows determination, and shouldn’t be mistook for desperation. This is not the first time that I am applying for this position, it is my nineteenth time. However, I am pretty determined to grasp the opportunity to show my full potential as a Helper this time around.
Experience – I was a retired Junior Administrator in OG-RP in a GTA: SA-MP server. I also was a Senior Moderator before being handpicked and promoted to Junior Administrator.
Firstly, as a Senior Moderator, I was given a task to control and utilize Junior Moderators and Moderators to keep them in order, and to arrange their activities according to their schedule and plan.
Shortly after my promotion, as a Junior Administrator, I was given the opportunity to answer out questions provided, and filing of player reports from players. There were a few serious tasks at hand that were given to me, which I could not talk about.
Aside from GTA: SA-MP, I have previously Co-Owned another minecraft server. It had approximately 30 players on average, so it was not very big, but because of this, I had the opportunity to experience first hand what moderation and administration on a Minecraft server was like.
What I have learnt from all these different moderation positions is that you must have dedication, patience and leadership. I have also lead several groups/factions in other servers in the past, which required a strong will to become the Leader of a community and unite all players. Though I do not doubt being a Helper on Meepcraft is not an easy task and comes with many responsibilities, I am confident I will be able to have fun, which is the most important aspect of a video game, is it not?
What are your weaknesses?
At times, I can certainly be immature, depending on the situation. This is a weakness that I could be in denial with, sometimes. This happens when I let myself become too cheerful and just talk a lot especially while interacting with other players. I tend to be hyperactive and talk about nonsense things that would sometimes get to the point where other people would think it’s annoying and a nuisance. This is of course an issue that I am working on, and I think that with the support of other staff members and my own willpower, I could overcome.
I am also a brutally honest person. I don’t like to beat around the bush, and I express myself when I disagree with something, and I speak my mind. This is something that is a weakness for me, because it sometimes can get to others.
My last, and probably my biggest weakness is my poor grammar. Due to the fact that I am from the Philippines, my mother tongue is our native dialect, Hiligaynon. Then comes English, followed by Tagalog. I tend to construct my sentences in an odd fashion, and commit big grammatical mistakes. However, as time passes by, I get to learn new words that help me improve my communication. Despite this, I generally make a clear point, and am able to share my thoughts.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know:

When did you join Meepcraft? Not sure of the exact date. I bought Premium on April 25th, 2012; but I started awhile before that.
Introduction: Hi guys!
Hopefully a lot of you know me by now. My name is Michaela and I play as ImNotBlonde. As many of you know, I have been staff before. To be completely honest, I have probably spent about 80% of the time I've had on Meepcraft as staff. I originally joined Meep in the first few days of April 2012, and then became a moderator about a month later in May 2012. After my initial position as a trial mod, I became a Moderator for 8 months before my promotion to Super Mod. After 3 or 4 more months of being a Super Mod, my real life caught up to me a bit. I quit due to different priorities becoming more relevant to my life and my future. That being said, I have served as a Moderator three (yes, three) other times after my initial introduction into staff. I served as staff on Old Meep, "The Golden Age", right before MeepNetworks (during the first spawn change), and during MeepNetworks. Needless to say, I have been with this server through a lot- and that's something I continue to uphold. I've also served as the Social Representative of Meepcraft, which I enjoyed a lot as well.
Now that you might have a better idea of who I am as a player, I'll tell you a little bit about me personally. I'm going to Arizona State University this Fall and I'm studying Performance. I play guitar and piano; I take dance classes in tap, jazz, and ballet; and I participate in both contemporary and music theatre voice lessons and music theory. I currently have a job as a Sales Associate at Bath & Body Works, which I absolutely love, but will have to quit soon since I am moving states for college. I also played competitive club soccer for 10 years, and Park & Rec. soccer simultaneously for 5. I am an ice skater and have won Colorado Gold for my division twice, and the Silver once. Although I no longer compete, this is still a big love of mine. I like to get involved in a lot of different things and I have a large variety of interests. I enjoy photography, writing, and reading as well (look up David Foster Wallace). I volunteer as a coach for children in beginners' ice skating and at a couple of my local elementary schools. I've also done set construction 8 hours a week for 6 months each year over the duration of my 4 years in high school. Living in Colorado, I've acquired a tremendous love for hiking mountains and finding new adventures. So that's just a little (or maybe a little too much) about my personal life.
Why should you be Helper? There are quite a few reasons I have decided to finally apply to join the staff team again. For one, I've noticed that the current staff appears to be a great group of people with different talents. One of the times I quit staff was due to the corruption I felt the team had. I remember making a huge thread on forums (the old forums) once I became citizen about how the overuse of power on the side of the staff team was driving players away and creating an unfair environment for a lot of people. I didn't really want to be a part of that or stick around during that period, so I did leave. Seeing the way the server is run now, I can tell that's not an issue.
I think that my experience in MeepCraft's history has given me a lot of tools that I can't forget. I know a huge problem throughout different people of power has been the abuse of that power. I think it's important for you all to know that I have never abused my power or been demoted. I have been entrusted with OP multiple times and have built parts of old Spawn, Spleef, Spleef Spawn, Hunger Games lobby, and much more (not the current ones though). As a supermod I had creative just about everywhere- definitely in the Wild and Towns world, and I am pretty sure in Spawn as well. Throughout all of my time on Meepcraft I have never abused the trust given to me by the community and those above me to hurt other players, the economy, or the server. This goes with when I served as the Social Representative- I never painted Meepcraft in any kind of negative light nor fell short of my responsibilities.
In my time as staff I have completely many, many thousands of Modreqs. I'm sure this might sound like a broken record, but I did serve while there were 1000 people on at a time. Back then, we had the same number of staff. That meant that every moderator had to learn to become masters with commands and efficiency when it came to completing requests. It's been awhile, but I know that's still something that is one of my best skills. I have also always been able to find hackers, dupers, and griefers pretty quickly. I think that my lifestyle off of the Internet has contributed hugely to my ability to multitask, and it translates well to Minecraft.
What has changed me this time from my last few staff experiences has probably been my increase in community service and job experience. I work with Elementary schoolers and hold a position at work that is almost entirely about Customer Service. This real world experience has made me much better at being patient, understanding, and quick to resolve situations.
There have been many times in which I'll be online and there will only be one staff member there. I think that can be a little bit too much for one person to handle monitoring chat, completing Modreqs, and doing the every day things that staff members do by his or herself. I know that I could make it much easier on those staff members by taking a load off of what they're doing at those times.
I have owned towns before and currently live in one in alpha and one in beta. Because of this I know almost all towny commands. I also own an island on Skyblock which I just became involved with about a month ago and I have been expanding my knowledge of all the different mini games. I think it's important to continue introducing players to all the different actives we offer so that their interest does not wain.
One of the most important things that I have currently been doing is making sure that every day I warp to the tutorial at least once or twice to guide new players through the MeepCraft experience. I know that a lot of new players get confused with the long book of rules and don't really know how to build a foundation in the game. I usually tend to give new players wood, iron tools, chain or gold armor, and food. Then I proceed to take them to the Wild, help them find resources, and then help them find Towns. I think this is really important to improving the player base and I feel as though it would be much easier for me to complete this process more quickly with a Helper title next to my name to reassure new players that they can trust me.
What are your weaknesses? First off, I am positively horrible at PVP and Parkour. It's embarrassing and it's sad, and I would dishonor a staff title with my KDR. On a more serious note, I think it's pretty obvious that I have a history of trolling. I joke around a lot, but I have never made those jokes at the expense of other players. I realize that when people see someone as a staff member, that person becomes a role model to others. This is something I take very seriously. I understand that it requires a different mindset and attitude to be on staff than it does to be a regular player. I also have heard staff talking on forums about Prism. I don't really know what that is, or if it's just another name for some of the stuff I've already done. Hopefully I will be able to figure that out quickly, but right now I am pretty uneducated about what that entails.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Well... If you aren't already asleep from how much I wrote.... Thank you for bearing with me! I woke up at 5:00 am to get more pain medication since I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday, and then just felt really strongly that I needed to do this.
On a side note: I was asked about the possibility of being Meep's social representative today for Facebook and Twitter, possibly Youtube and Instagram as it progresses.
I understand if I can only do one or the other- they are both great opportunities and I would love to help current players as a Helper equally to how much I'd love to bring in new players as a Social Rep.
I really look forward to reading all of your suggestions, (constructive) criticism, and thoughts.CrackCrazy, Dat_Coffee, 0zblox and 12 others like this. -

Position Changes: VIP to Helper
Introduction: Well, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Dawson. I am 15 years old and live in Pennsylvania. I'm fairly new to being active on the server, but I've already become somewhat known to the community. My friend (rchessmasterc) showed me Minecraft around 2008, back when you could download a trial version that you could only edit the world for 60 minutes, in survival. After a while, he decided to get an account. After a week or so of begging, he gave me the login information. I played single player all the time. I even brought my laptop on vacation and played for hours while my family was at the beach. At the time, servers were a whole different level. rchess and I had no idea how to do anything other than mine and build dirt houses. We then found LAN worlds. Unfortunately, we used the same account so LAN was impossible. After weeks of begging to my mother, she said I could get an account.
LAN worlds- all day, everyday. Along with LAN, we figured out Creative. At that point, we just gave each other diamond gear and fought monsters like "bosses". Then, the idea of servers came up. From then on, I don't remember much. Just going from server to server all the time, never staying on one. Kind of boring I suppose, but we didn't give a crap. Then, my mom and dad told me I was addicted. I do have to admit though, I really was. I was staying up until 2 am on school nights (that's late for a 10 year old). I was then grounded, "forever". A year went on by, a girlfriend came at one point, a made some friends, played some sports. I got a life I guess. Then, I asked (just like I did every month) if I could play Minecraft. To my surprise, my parents said yes.
I became less of a noob, playing on factions servers, towny servers and kitPVP servers. The first server I really stuck with was *********. I joined one day, and an admin named JP helped me create a faction and played some Survival Games with me. I build a really noob base, it was a castle on top of a hill. Not the ideal location. I donated to the server, cause yolo. I became friends with almost all of the staff and the owner. After a bit, I was finally invited to the faction all the staff were in, Empire. Man, they had a good base, obby everywhere. After about 10 staff apps, I was accepted. From then on it was really fun. Of course, like it had to at some point, Empire split. I joined another faction named Brittania, led by Erebus45. That was great until one of our members raided us. Then, Brittania fell. I made a new faction with rchess and his brother (who just began to play) named Airnomads. Around that point, word had been spread that ********* was combining with another server. It did, but it really didn't combine. More like took over. This server was **********
********** was great, a towny server that I loved. LexKristen was admin, Qwiken was mod, and Dancing Cactus was Tech. I, as I did on every server, then made staff applications. Eventually I was accepted. After a few days, I did a lil griefing. LET ME EXPLAIN THOUGH- There were animals trapped in a hole, 2 deep with an odd shape in a town I had an embassy in. I let them free, and by let them free I mean I trapped them on my plot. A demotion came soon after. I was still very active on the server. Later on, the server was being shut down due to Meepcraft. You guys really took our players but ya know, competition is a thing. Many kitPVP servers later, where one said I had to donate to be mod (left right away), and another where the staff were seriously harassing. Now, I come to you to play Towny .
Allow me to explain my username - it comes from pig latin (my parents spoke it when they didn't want me to hear something). Dawson translated into pig latin is Awsonday. Now, as a child, I was not as creative as I am today. I jumped on the bandwagon with rchess and added "r" at the beginning and "c" at the end. rAwsondayc was "born".
Lemme throw in a little personal life too I suppose.
I grew up in PA all my life, and was born with food allergies, the most severe being peanuts. At 2 years old, I was messing around with what I thought was chocolate covered candy. Of course, it had to be chocolate covered nuts. I almost had to have one of those holes in my throat , the kind that smokers have, can't remember the name of it. Around that time, my parents made the decision to cyber school me. I grew up acting at a local playhouse, it was my life long passion to be an actor at that point. In 2002, my dad was diagnosed with hotchkins lymphomia (spelling is WAY off, I know, sorry) in his lung. I saw him go through many hospital visits, and IV in the house that I had helped change, and many other things that scarred me forever. I had 2 sisters, one now 12 and the other 6, so there's a good side to this. All was well, it was a usual process going to the hospital whenever he was admitted for some odd reason. Whenever he came back, it was only for a year at most, then he was gone for months.
The cycle continued to move, and this was how I learned to live life. November 2012, I was woken up at 4 am by my sister who screamed at me "Dads bleeding through his nose!". (WARNING SOMEWHAT ADULT CONTENT) He was over the sink, bleeding through his nose and mouth, while my mom was on the phone with 911. After a few minutes, he took a look at me, while I was peaking through the crack in the door. At that moment, his eyes shut, and he fell over backwards. A bloody scene, and I get chills typing it now. The worst park was seeing and hearing my mom try to give him CPR. What had happened, was because of his low immune system, a bacteria ate his lung away.
After that, I made the harsh decision to go to public school for 9th grade. My god, was that a terrible choice. Going into high school, as "freshmeat", not even knowing how to sit at a desk. I made some friends, until one day I lost a ton of them. I said I was trying out for the school show, at that point, the gay comments flooded in. I was back stabbed, cheated on, and given death threats throughout the first half of the year. I came right back to cyber school after.
Well, it seems the story has caught up with me, so that's my life right there.
Why you should be Helper/Mod ?
Well, I hate being self centered, but here's what I'm good at:
TEAMWORK: Sometimes easy to do, with the right people, and always has a positive outcome. I cannot stress the importance of teamwork. I work well on teams because as a kid, I grew up in theater (as stated), and knew that every person, weather a small role or big role, carried on the performance.
INDIVIDUALITY: I'm odd really, a bit flamboyant I will admit. Get to know me though, I'm cool. I think.
CREATIVITY: Again, coming from my performances on stage, creativity gives life to everything and anything. I absolutely love playing the piano and trying to create new chords and adding them together in new ways. I'm a little rusty at piano now though.
SENSE OF HUMOR: I'm funny af. Everyone likes a funny guy, AM I RITE?
LEADERSHIP: I can lead as well as the Alpha in a pack of wolves. I always take the road that's never taken, giving no experiences to all that follow. Leading is something that I feel is key, and I can absolutely handle.
SOCIAL SKILLS: Although I've been cyber schooled for years, I have great social skills if I do say myself. A sense of humor really helped, and also the fact that my Dad turned me into a gentleman at 5 years old. I'll tell you, I shook a mans hand so firmly (don't take this weird), and I was respected.
IMAGINATION: I got that too.
Weaknesses:
I'm a bit of a noob at advanced commands, and I'm not really a guy you would go to for tech purposes.
I'm sensitive, and sometimes a bit too sensitive. I'm trying to correct that.
I have ADHDI (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder with Impulse). The Impulse part means that I have troubles with decision making. I feel though, that I have overcome this. I was diagnosed with this 2 years ago, so it could be inaccurate.
Conclusion: Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this. It took me three days so you BETTER enjoy this! I really love the Meep staff and community (Don't mean too "kiss-ass" there) and I hope to help out the server in every way possible.Last edited: May 11, 2014KaiUsesThis, DiamondBoy, FluffbearRCT and 12 others like this. -

After reading his introduction, I felt like something was off, but I didn't think he'd stoop as low as
plagiarizing- then I saw @Bob4444444's post. Plugged it into Google and found it right away. GG man.
If you're going to use that, cite your sources. A good number of us have been through 7th-8th grade English and were taught to cite any outside sources to anything we used in our work.

I agree with Old_Pink on this one. A lot of people are being hypocritical and rude towards pizzafest.
He has Teamspeak and staff meetings are always announced before they occur on Teamspeak. He does not have to be on it all the time. It's unnecessary.
I don't understand why the capital letters were necessary to get your point across. It's very unnecessary, he can obviously read.
1. be rude
2. give him constructive criticism
3. don't post at all
You had two other completely decent choices and you chose number 1.
Do not listen to the people degrading you. If it's your dream, pursue it, pizzafest.Last edited: Jul 6, 2014metr0n0me, 1MinecraftLord1, Videogames321 and 11 others like this. -

It was really quite easy.
Horne has the brain of a 9 year old so this is what his sentences are usually like:
I Like working for servers and I have experience And stuff!
Not
I like working for servers and I have experience in the position.
In his app, he failed to demonstrate his actual typing. And I'll give credit where credit is due. When @Nerf958 said it looked copied and pasted, I did my research.
So anyways, Horne should be banned, since this is a real world illegal offense.GroovyGrevous, Videogames321, SirCallow and 11 others like this. -
Just because someone does not like to add to the already spammy chat filled with "TY FOR DONATINGGGGGG," "WELCOME ASKGLJGSDLGSD TO MEEPCRAFT" and "BAN," doesn't mean they aren't qualiifed for the Moderator position. When I was a Helper, I just /msg'd the answers to people's questions, because the chat was spammy enough.
Some people don't like /shout, that's their incentive.
You all need to open up your eyes and figure out that not all the work people do is seen upfront and in /shout.

You don't stand out as anything other than the ordinary to me. You seem to do your role well, but that's where it stops. I think you should start posting more on the forums and act more like a Mod, whilst doing your Helper roles.
I also highly suggest talking to Diana or Sirrr_Pig to get your forum name changed to your IGN, it gets confusing even with the IGN in your signature.

Lets see...Hell. No.
For a 35 year old, you have displayed extreme levels of immaturity on the forums and in game. You start fights with children and get in name calling matches with them. That is NOT behavior fitting of a staff member. Obviously you care about the server and want to make it better but you have a lot to work on. Your immaturity is just scratching the surface on your problems.

Cooey, you're such a joy to talk with and I am so happy you applied. You are online quite often and help in shout. You are a little youngster but you know Meepcraft well. I have seen way worse from people your age and I believe you are mature enough to handle the job as helper with the right training you would be set! +1 good luck!Draqq, Niiicck, MoonlitMadness and 11 others like this. -

I'm not entirely sure what your motives are for staff. You seem to be helpful and nice on the outside, but you don't seem very genuine. I think you're doing this all for popularity. You are really about acting on impulse especially when fueled by rage/anger. You seem like the kind of person who posts all of their charity work on social media to show how "good" of a person they are. You are very immature, I've never seen you respond positively to criticism. You took a "break" from meep after getting denied. This shows me that you tend to overreact to things. You are very confident and when you're wrong you play it off as if it's not your fault.
Overall, I could see you as a staff member if you realize and take it for what it actually is. Good luck.Lady_Hestia, Toostenheimer, Bob4444444 and 11 others like this.
