Let us know what you think!
Life is a cupcake and so is weather
Well, rain is annoying, but I guess it's more realistic, so yes.

Keep them! If people don't like it, I swear theres something in optifine that can turn off rain? I might be wrong and that might be nodus (I'VE ONLY EVER USED NODUS ON MY OWN SERVER FOR MODERATING)
How does nodus help in moderation?
RemoteView other players, try catch hackers.
Nodus is not currently being made...
Yeah, but in 1.5.2 lul
Rain is pesky and it lowers FPS for the people who don't have optifine. Do you really want to dissapoint your nooby players? ):
Nodus is probably the best moderation/administrative tool there is, too bad it's discontinued.
To be on topic, sure why not.
I appreciate the rain/snow/thunderstorms in the wild, it gives the world depth and meaning.
I like it in the wild, but not so much in towny.
But say, for example, your town is in a snowy biome but unfortunately there's no snow that falls there...ever...wouldn't that be sad?
I would be elated if that were the case. LOL. Snow biomes are the devil's handiwork.
Ideally I think it'd be interesting as a /t toggle weather. My main issue with weather is that it's difficult to see/build when it's pouring. In the wild, it adds a sense of danger, the survival aspect to it – to not knowing if there's a mob behind the tree because the rain impacts vision/hearing.
Regardless of what gets chosen, there are options available. One can simply turn off rain in optifine, removing the sound file from the pack, etc. My main concern at this point is whether rain eggplants the server, or if its a user-by-user situation.
As far as I know, rain doesn't put any extra load on the server. At least, I haven't noticed it on my own server.
