Had to sign in to say this, but finally a normal, 2012 looking spawn. Not to say I told you so or anything, but I 100% wanted this and predicted it. Ha. And meepcraft is dead which is kinda sad. -FatUnicornzz

 

For one, drop the server player count to 300. We can work on building that up and making a target for us to hit, rather than us having 1000 slots and 40 players on. Maybe 100 at night but 1000 is way too much.
The new spawn looks great. Does it use the same layout as the 2013 one?

 

It isn't as spread out as the 2013 one but has a lot of similarities.

The spawn sneak peak looks quite a bit like the old spawn that all of the old players raved about.
Also x2 exp is somewhat useless I think it should be x5 exp, or something like that.

mini games should not have money as a reward to add to the economy, it shoud have a way to rank up in the mini game you are in with the rewards you get. IMO the economy should only be in the towny world 50k for 4 minutes work is to much. LIke my Reply or hate it IDC

 

• Gadgets

Now, several weeks after gadgets went live, how many of you actually use them?

I would argue 95% of players don't really care that they were added. The only thing they showed is some work was being done at all. I believe I speak for most of the community when I say this:

"Honestly, we don't care how many gadgets and other cosmetic stuff are added to ranks. It's just not practical. We would much rather see improvements being made to things everyone has access too, so long as they are what matter: Towny, minigames, and other things that develop the infrastructure of the server. The time spent adding new cosmetic perks just isn't going to work out."

• Boosters

As for boosters, they are completely fine as long as they apply to all players. The ban on boosters mentioned is for those that apply only to single players. More recently, my brother (who does a little bit of everything) has been playing a EULA compliant server with purely cosmetic ranks, and boosters. The way they work is, it sends an alert to the entire server, and "suggests" tipping that player as a way of thanking them. This, I think, would be a good way to announce boosters, and make it profitable for these donators, as well.

Several ideas I had for said boosters include:
-Haste
The way this would work, it'd give all players a Haste 2 effect for a set amount of time. I will leave the length and pricing up to others.

-Increased Random Tick Speed
For those unaware what this is, random tick speed is the game rule that affects how random events work. Increasing this would speed up iron farms, plant growth, grass spread, spawner output, etc. Again, I would leave length, the amount of increase, and price up to others.

-Fire Resistance
Pretty self-explanatory, I'd say.

-Water Breathing
I don't really see a need to elaborate on this.

-Night Vision

-Saturation
This effect, which exists in vanilla, reduces the need for food. High enough levels are no different than /feed.

-Double Prizes/Kills
All this would do is double the amount you receive from minigames and kills in KitPvP. This would be OP, if it did not apply to all players. In addition, it'd be a great way for people to attract players to minigames.
