Hello n00b!
I think you are a great candidate for a helper position, in the future. Right now what is holding me back is that you are slightly immature at times and have a banhistory which has bans that are fairly recent. I have not seen you in TS . Also you advertised your application, that is a no no and makes you seem desperate. For now I am a -1 but I feel you will have great success if you apply in the future! Good luck!

 

Thankyou to everyone (yes chaos, I used bold not caps) who has replied! I have learnt a lot just from your responses, and should this be denied (which I sadly think it will) I will be sure to use all of your tips! I will be applying every 2 weeks from when the one before it is denied, not because of power thirst, but simply because being a helper is my dream

theone, a) I suggested it to n00b to ban you, and we had a legitimate reason. You were being disrupting and slightly harassing, telling people 'we don't like you' 'we don't accept your kind here' and b) We didn't know your skin tone until you told me 'is this because I'm black?' when we told you that we had banned you.

 

Your app was quite good although you did advertise it ingame. I have had/heard of bad experiences with you in the past and was it you that made that thread about how meepcraft is bad (I can't remember)? You have changed since then but I'm not sure you are ready.

I have to say I'm a +/- 0. You're active, dedicated, and knowledgeable about the server, and you can be very friendly and helpful with other players. But you can also be fairly rude and impatient, both on the forums and in-game.

Your ban history (since May, not counting before then) concerns me, too. You say it was your brother who did the scamming… but even assuming that’s true, part of you had to suspect something wasn't right when he mysteriously hid gold blocks and told you to take them. We need to be able to trust staff members not turn a blind eye to illegal activity, and certainly not to allow themselves get caught up in it (including things like the conspiracy that was mentioned earlier). I’m not one to hold your past against you, but there has been a pattern of dishonesty that could carry into the future. I'd like to see you acknowledge what you did wrong instead of just saying “I was innocent” or “it wasn’t me.” You say you've learned from your bans, so what did you learn?

BUT I have seen a lot of improvement in you in the past several months, and I'm really glad! Your attitude has gotten better by leaps and bounds. And I respect the way you’re accepting constructive criticism on your application. If this is denied, though, I wouldn't advise re-applying just because two weeks have passed - do it only when you believe you have had enough time to work on yourself to be ready for Helper. Keep up your enthusiasm, and use it to help people even more and set a good example even while you aren't staff. Good luck!
