Suggestion

Recommend consulting with Klutz. Never said it should be game changing I was more talking small cosmetic things like exclusive effects. I have been told otherwise from Klutz. I fully understand the reason for it to be cheaper now and I’m not saying that it shouldn’t be cheaper.

Again never said it should be a major perk. The majority of this post is talking about cosmetic items. Consult with Klutz there is more to this. Instead of jumping straight to conclusions that I’m looking for some OP perks and putting the idea down why not embrace it and look for some good things that could come from this... From a business point of view I see no reason this would be a bad idea. (NOT GAME CHANGING PERKS). Again. Yes it’s unobtainable but how can people complain about one small cosmetic item? The moderators/admins/owners have their own unobtainable effect. Not once have I seen someone have a cry about it. If things like this do get added for Legend and I’m sure they will, I guarantee if anyone complains about unobtainable COSMETIC items you just tell them; “The Ultimate rank was originally priced at $320. Therefore it was not EULA compliant meaning we had to take it away. Now the Ultimate rank costs only $200. Ultimate and Legend are virtually the same rank just people who bought “Ultimate” for $320 are now seen as legend and only get a few extra cosmetic items as they payed an extra $120. Due to the price having to be lowered due to EULA we figured it would only be fair to give the people who payed more just a few more cosmetics. Just like how staff/admin/owners have their own unobtainable effects. (Now end it politely)

how from a business point of view, there is not business to even come from it because people cant pay to get legend.... that completely cancels out your entire argument.

because as you literally just put it, its UNOBTAINABLE.... therefore, people would not be able to get it....

last i checked, people can apply for staff.... so really if you got accepted, you get these "unobtainable effects", which by the way only admins have, so yeah no ones gonna cry about admins having a effect since they work their butts of for the server.

Sure legends paid more, that has been acknowledged in the name, giving them a perk, how little it may be would be extremely unfair to the rest of the player base.

This will encourage the selling of accounts which will lead to drama as security issues pop up, especially since anyone that still has proof of purchase can sell their account and get it right back

Its a donation, not a purchase, sit down and be happy with what you got. No reason to add something to a rank thats been exclusive to people who just donated sooner, like years ago, now

No it’s exclusive to people who payed $320 for the rank... EULA made it so ranks cant cost anymore than $200. Pretty rude approach to this not gonna lie. I started with consult with Klutz as he is not against the idea. The reason they’re different ranks is SO they have the ability to add stuff to legend rank. An idea that I had was give them $120 worth of store credit therefore the things they choose to buy aren’t unobtainable.

 

You really have not been reading what people have been saying have you? It is exclusive to people who donated sooner, before the price change. I don't care about the price change.

Legend is exactly the same as ultimate. Think of legend as a /nick to ultimate. Its literally the same. The one and only difference is when you bought it.

Its a donation, not a purchase, so be happy you got anything at all lmao

Munkee has a point though which you are not willing to consider, if we did add stuff to legend that people cannot get it will lead to people trying to sell accounts which never ever ends well and always causes more trouble that its worth.

Okay, as i said when we spoke last night, sure they are a different rank in case there was perks for legend, but you are missing the point where this occurred a few years ago.... so yeah it might have been in talks then to make it a perk for it, but right now that is a bad idea and would be unfair to the rest of the player base...

you keep saying over and over and over again that you have consulted with clue, BUT did you read this one.... no gameplay perks are gonna be added...

Say we add a particle effect or something, its going to be so insignificant to the actual rank that in the end its not worth it and would be a waste of time.

God forbid mods type a command and ban someone (they could have spent those five seconds watching paint dry instead!)

Are you seriously arguing we avoid adding any new content to the server just so staff wouldn't have to continue doing their job? Let's remove the ability to have custom town names, just pull from a list. What if someone named their town a naughty word? God forbid staff have to work! This is your job, moderators... well, moderating, shouldn't be an excuse to avoid adding absolutely anything that allows player input or creativity. What a horrible argument.

Preventative measures are usually more efficient than reactive ones. Among the administration team, we have 0 interest in ever adding nicknames for the confusion and trouble it can cause without even getting into the chat rule issues. Plenty of reason not to enable nicknames, but less moderation is certainly a bonus when we'd rather be working on projects.
