Staff Application

I understand that you want to put everything you have done wrong in the past behind you, but this isn't the way it works. You cannot misbehave, curse, break rules and be immature in general and then suddenly claim to change your ways if you get the 'job'. I'm going to use an extremely arguable analogy but this is how I see it, A criminal who has robbed a bank should not be able to come out of jail, apply for a job at a bank and get the job.

I comprehend the fact that you are trying your hardest but I would rather see change happen over time, before seeing you as a Helper. I realise the position of Helper is only a trial position, but i've seen people way more qualified for the position get denied. Although, I have seen people who are way less qualified (imo) who have been accepted.

I feel that this statement shows that you are applying for this position for your own benefit instead of others. People love staff ranks because they become more well known and respected, this should not be the case, People should apply for staff positions to better improve this game and for the best interest of the community and server.

All this being said, I wish you the best of luck, but I'd have to say no this time.

Edit: You do have a brain and you also have potential, but you may just need to figure out a few things.

I like you VLK, your pretty awesome, I'm just not sure you would make good staff you've had many bans and things of that nature sorry, take no offenses

I have known you for quite some time VKL_Rewindzz. Our relationship began as something that was quite antagonistic. In general, your attitude then was far from pleasing. I actually had a dislike for you as a player because of that attitude. You were the last person I would actually seriously consider for a staff position, but may have laughed at the application.

As time grew on, we began talking far more often on much more pleasing terms. I began to get the chance to know who you are, rather than VKL_Rewindzz, if you may. What I have found out is that you are a decent guy, VKL, and I like you, for who you are. I don't always agree with your actions, and I think the attitude still needs some work.

I think you have some things to work on, especially when you disagree with something. If you were to join staff, you would be expected to follow the hierarchy, even if you disagree. You should not have an attitude in public if something has made you upset, or you disagree with the call of a higher up. As I'm sure we can all agree there are minor issues in addition, one namely being that nasty ban record. While I understand that all the bans are not serious, and some may be misunderstandings, troll bans etc. You certainly have an uphill battle.

But I will say this for you, VKL. If you actually invest the time, patience, and will to improve upon yourself, just as you have been doing for so long now, you have potential, I believe. I think you have some of the more important factors in being a successful staff, but you need to get rid of the junk covering it.

I am not going to vote up or down on this. I will say that if you truly want to be staff and invest the time, and behavior into this I would really consider +1-ing you. This does not mean in two weeks, or even 1 month, but this needs to be a long-term investment you'd be willing to make over the matter of time. I think you can do this, and I really want to see who you are if you do this.

Good luck, VKL, and I urge you to invest your time into this, it's clear you love this server, you keep coming back. That is the most important quality staff should have, love for the server. I believe you can make this happen if you spend the time applying yourself.

You are a cynical vexatious troll who likes to act like an idiot to get a laugh out of someone (so me), when you're usually not that funny, from my perspective (which may or may not be biased). You try way too hard at some things and I really dislike your whole "nice-guy VKL" approach. It's really disturbing and you are trying to be something you aren't. As well... you've applied many times before and been denied many times...

Something you gotta do when you're in staff, is realize that you are on the bottom and there are 40 people above you. I don't think your mind can comprehend that.

I don't see potential.

Also, it still sounds like you're not serious about applying. Wanting to be staff "even for a day or two" before you leave tells us you're in it for the title, not helping others or the server.

You really think you'd be a good staff member? You really want to take on this responsibility and do something good with it? Then prove it.
