Server Downtime - 1/1/17

I'd like to say this to all town owners. If you don't put enough money in the bank for atleast a month so it doesn't die, and instead keep it in your balance, you're an idiot. The town is where you should keep your money. When I had a town I kept 3mil out of my 3.5mil there so in case something happens, it's fine.

Yeah klitch. I'm kinda concerned about my town. I have less then 32k in the town bank right now.


How many days will 32k in a village town last?

not everyone is rich like you though...I remember there were times where I had to scrape together 20k doing odd jobs every day to keep up my town.

 

Unless you've claimed an extraordinary amount of plots to skyrocket your upkeep, there is no reason to worry about two days of taxes.

 

Maybe I'm reading into this too much but does that imply that a reset is on the table?

 

I was playing on my server and then left to see if MeepCraft was up. It said "1.11.2" on it and I was confused. I ran 1.11.2 and I got on and it said {"text":"§3We are currently preforming scheduled maintenance. §cwww.meepcraft.com"} So I thought it meant they started scheduled maintenance. I went to the website and read this post and here I am now. Also I connect to MeepCraft with 4caeacf1a024bb28.ddns.net now because I saw that IP when I connected to it in the logs and I thought I would try it. It works.

 

There are multiple ways to connect to meepcraft (or any minecraft server for that matter). Their domain, the direct ip, the ip the domain forwards to. One way or another the administration should be more transparent with the community about what exactly is going on.

 

They wont noahnda and all our towns will die.

 

Well, they still have time to tell the community what's going on. Whether or not they do only time will tell. To have the best possible community on a minecraft server transparency is key, especially when so many people have devoted so much time, energy, and money to the cause.

 

I don't gamble like the rest of meep. I try to keep a steady income and unfortunately that is not a big one.

If Hillary can release information why cant meep lol.

 

Hillary doesn't by choice, the info comes by leak or hack. Maybe the Russians can fill us in on what's going on? Where are they when you need them.
