Hey! Are you talking about AP Calc AB and BC?

I'm taking AP BC this year; do you have any advice in preparing for the exam? Thanks in advance! :D

Ever heard of the 4th Armored Division? While never given an official nickname, such as the 2nd Armored Division (Hell on Wheels), they were given several nicknames. These include "Name Enough," "Roosevelt's Butchers," and "Patton's Best." This division served during the Second World War. Divisions are comprised of approximately ten thousand men, yet this division has more awards than any other. Between it 's members, it has 3 Medals of Honor alone. Division records show they killed slightly more than thirteen thousand, wounded thirty thousand, and captured ninety thousand Germans. Not to mention they downed more than 800 enemy warplanes, and were the first to liberate a concentration camp. The 4th AD was divided further into three groups: Combat Command A (CCA), Combat Command B (CCB), and Combat Command Reserve (CCR). CCR was the unit to first link up the the 101st Airborn Division (The Screaming Eagles) when they defended Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge on December 26th, 1944.
    Got anything nerdier than that?

I was singing this to "I'm a Survivor." Was that the right tune?

I certainly am talking about this xD. I really recommend getting one of those $20-$50 books that cover all of the material. I really, REALLY, really, really (can I say this enough?) recommend the Crash Course book. Go over old FRQs on the AP website. Try to work them and then look at the answers and see how many points you got. If you can try to get 4-6 points per FRQ, and get 8-9 on the easy "gimmes" you should be okay. Really know how to work multiple choice. That's what can kill people. So. You can really just look up old multiple choice exams, or I can do some digging and searching and try to find links for you to go over some. :)

To give you a hint, that's just one DIVISION, don't get me started on General George S. Patton Jr.
Biggest thing to take from his life story: Governments should really listen to their generals.
    Example #1
    Patton: Let's hammer these (Censored)
Government of the time: Eh, we're gonna give your supplies to this British General.
Result: Third Army runs out of gas, Germans launch counterattack, entire front line of the Allies doesn't change for another month until Patton attacks again
    Example #2
Patton: After we finish off these Germans, let's give them some guns and attack the Soviet Union.
US Government of the time: No, the Soviets are our allies, they'll never hurt us. We want peace.
Result: The Cold War begins, and lasts for the next forty years because the U.S.S.R. develops their own nukes

So true, Patton saved America from the last great offence of Germany, without Patton I'll bet that we would not have won, sad to say that he was assassinated (my belief).

Thanks! I've been going over old FRQs already haha...I've been getting around 6-7 per, so this makes me feel a bit more confident.

I've been working on the MCs too; I find them harder than FRQs. I'll try to buy and go over a book too before the exam.

    Thanks so much!

To counter, had Abe Lincoln not disregarded the crappy advice of McClellan (eventually relieving him of duty and replacing him with Grant) who knows who would have won the civil war?

Or Douglas MacArthur wanting to nuke Korea and China during the Korean War

If a rooster laid an egg on a pitched roof and the wind was going 5 knots to the left, would it roll to the left or to the right?

    in Just-
spring when the world is mud-
    luscious the little
    lame balloonman
    whistles far and wee
    and eddieandbill come
    running from marbles and
    piracies and it's
    spring
    when the world is puddle-wonderful
    the queer
    old balloonman whistles
    far and wee
    and bettyandisbel come dancing
    from hop-scotch and jump-rope and
    It's
    spring
    and
    the
    goat-footed
    balloonMan whistles
    far And wee

    It's a poem by e.e cummings :p
