Rei's Minimap announcement

Ive been using Rei's minimap since December 26, 2013!

 

You must not know what an entity is. An entity can be a mob, passive mob, items on the ground, etc

I'm afraid not. The fact that Rei's minimap is so widely found with entities radar now means that we need to make it illegal, even if certain versions don't have it. I'm disappointed, too, because I had it installed until just recently!

MapWriter looks like an excellent alternative, though. Has anyone heard of other good minimap mods that don't include radar?

Map Writer is the best out of the minimap options. Hexxit comes with it installed, and I play Hexxit all the time. It's my favorite minimap.

 

The point isnt that it can kill you, the point is that you can find underground spawners with radar.

 

With all due respect, these people who are at a "disadvantage" by not having the map can either

A) not care, because they don't use minimaps and aren't hindered by the lack of one.
B) install it, because there are thousands of resources/guides on installing mods so they have no excuse not to have it if they feel that they are at such a horrible disadvantage.

 

This is x1v16/austinwill2002/conductorshane. I was 90% of the way towards quitting after meepshop got removed. This got me the last 10% of the way there. Meepcraft no longer brings me happiness. It's no longer the server I joined and stayed for.

 

This map was allowed?

It's an mod that obviously gives an unfair advantage. I would never download it in the first place.

Zan's minimap was never legal, it was Rei's that could be used

As far as I know, there is no Minimap Mod that is able to do this! D:

 

what happens if you catch someone using a map?
