Rank/Chat Color Adjustments

How does the mod blue not stand out???

I like the Supreme chat text I have now and to donate for Ultimate, I'd feel like I'm paying to down-grade my rank. Orange is ugly in my opinion.

 

Yes about the mod chat color but supermod has to stay, light blue is overpowering as it should, but ultimate should be Aqua

Take note of what videogames stated, both the rank and chat color are orange, so they will stand out as they'll be the only rank aside from admin that has the same color for both rank and chat. Considering admin has red brackets [] for the rank, maybe SuperMod could have orange brackets as well. It'll line up the colors better with this setup.

 

My reason is simply my personal preference. I like the color scheme as-is, it's my personal opinion, nothing more, nothing less.

 

I personally like the color scheme as is, and changing Supermod would... I'm not going to lie, really bother me. Supermod has been cyan since I joined (minus MN, b/c I didnt play then so I don't know about that)

Maybe its just me being obsessive, but I don't see why Supermod needs a change.

As for Mod color, as much as I feel that it stands out, I understand how much many Ultimates and Supremes dislike the orange, even though I personally like it. I'd prefer if Mod stayed a different color than Helper, though, because it helps players tell the difference faster. (Also as an afterthought, I like that all staff rank colors are the same green, minus Admin)

Finally, I completely disagree with Elite's having a rank color. They are such a large number compared to Supreme and Ultimate, and chat color is a big reason to donate up to those two.

 

I think you didnt get my point. while i made it rather simple to understand. and yes i have looked at the full picture. so that argument is not gonna work. and since this is a Suggestion thread and not a discussion Im not gonna argue,

 

You made a statement but provided no reason. It is necessary that you specify your reasons as this thread is up for the community to reflect their concerns or support for this suggestion. The concept is rather simple.

 

It stands out as ugly, but when you see it in the chat, your eyes don't move right to it. Mine actually tend to avoid it.

_Lizzer has an amazing point. Anyways staff, remember that this is a community based server, and there is always room for improvement.

Big +1 I really hate the ult chat color now. Like when 3 Ults talk in a row, the orange is just so bright and spammy. I feel a new color would not only lessen spam but increase the amount of people who upgrade to Ultimate.
