But what if I call out members of my own camp for doing the same thing?
well yes, but if I call out both sides' crap then I should be able to call out either side, right?

FCC will probably fine the show because the word is of sexual nature, which is still prohibited.

So you're saying some Republicans insulted Obama's kids, and some Democrats insulted Trump's kid? Shocking, some people are idiots.

On another note: At least France didn't elect their nationalistic idiot.

I'm more democrat than republican and I don't want to change the 2ND amendment any more than the first.

My first amendment is not a slippery slope, and it doesn't protect me from consequences in society but punishment from government

You idiot a university banning a speaker isn't infringing on your free speech. Freedom of speech means the government can't punish you.
Lol this is so dumb I'm done arguing with you, your an 18 year old that knows nothing about nothing, claiming people want to get rid of your first amendment but wanting to imprison people for disrespecting cops, etc and supporting the President who literally said we should change the Constitution to make it easier to sue for libel.

I'll continue the debate with anyone else but as far as I'm concerned blue Marlin admitted defeat and left the thread.

Yeah, my point was that neither "Republicans" or "Democrats" were really a racist party, but some people are just racist.

No, you're incorrect. After the verdict was reached, Democrat politicians created a massive uprising to try and reverse the decision. This was spearheaded by Harry Byrd, a Democrat senator from Virginia, Orval Faunus, the Democrat governor of Arkansas, who famously deployed the national guard to try to stop black students from entering previously white schools, Ben Sheppard, the Texas attorney general (also Democrat) who sued schools that desegregated, and George Wallace, the democrat governor of Alabama who was a terrible person in many ways.

Also forced busing did nothing to end segregation. It made both whites AND blacks mad (4% of whites and 9% of blacks approved), and in most cases didn't even change the racial breakdowns of schools. Plus, it made people sit on buses for hours and hours, which was a huge inconvenience--especially for people who stayed after school for athletics. Finally, it was a huge reason why affluent white people left the inner city for the suburbs, leading to urban blight and further deterioration of inner-city school systems.

Additionally, unlike consumer products, you can't price shop medical care and make an informed decision on choosing the lowest cost option on a normal day, let alone an emergency situation.

And that is the inherent issue. Ideologies of liberalism and conservatism in theory don't account for the fact we don't live a theoretical life, and messy things happen all the time. How things should be and how things are are two very different things, why waste time bemoaning how it should be when it'll save us all time and money to just deal with things how they are now?

It's really a waste of time to argue with someone who refuses to learn anything from a debate. This is called being willfully blind. Sorry, but your attempts to express your "opinions" are only going to bring you hate. STOP. I know you want to say something stupid like, "I'm just expressing my opinions, they are just butthurt," or something of the sort. However, you need to accept one general fact about mature debaters: they will not hate you as a debater because of your opinions, but because you disregard facts. Nearly all debaters, even ones that think minimum wage should stay the same will hate your debating style. Most people in the debate section will despise you just as a person, not as a debater, if you simply told us that you want people to suffer in poverty. After all, that is what you would be arguing if you accepted the facts?

On the bright side, your posts have only come across as stupidity for now.

But that isn't enough to say there is correlation between high crime urban areas and state / city gun laws because it's ignoring essentially all the obvious things contributing to the high crime.
    --- Double Post Merged, May 2, 2017, Original Post Date: May 2, 2017 ---
Agreed, make gun laws similar to vehicle laws.

Can't get a gun if you have prohibitive crime/health history and you have to test for competency. I worry less about the criminal gun owner than the legal gun owner that would allow a child to shoot an Uzi they can't control.

While I agree that Assad is a piece of shit, is he worse than the alternative?

What happens if Assad loses the war?--there'll be a massive power vacuum in Syria. Extremist organizations such as al-Qaeda, Taliban, and ISIS have historically thrived in regions with large power vacuums caused by deposed strongmen--the Iranian Shah's overthrowal led to the current government, Saddam Hussain's deposal and Iraq War led to the rise of ISIS, Mubarak's removal caused the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood, and Assad's weakening grip on power has led to increased ISIS operations in Syria.

Don't get me wrong, Assad is a terrible human being and has violated many people's humanitarian rights. However, before the war, he really actually wasn't that bad as far as dictators go. Is Assad's regime, or something similar, better than a wartorn state characterized by land wars, power struggles between the Free Syrian Army, ISIS, and various other factions? We've seen what happens when ISIS tries to run a government: look at Raqqa, Aleppo, Mosul, etc. The human rights violations there are arguably much worse than anything Assad's ever done. If Assad loses the war, you can bet that ISIS will play a huge role in setting up the next regime--do you want that?

While there are still cold winters in some places, the overall trend is that global temperature is increasing.

Here (click me) is a graph that shows the trend of the temperature increases of the past 130 or so years, with the y-axis being the difference between any given year's temperature and the 130-year mean, and the x-axis being the years. You can obviously see that the temperature is increasing.

About Death Valley: last June was the hottest June on record at Death Valley (source).

And whoever took the measurement in 1913 screwed up, because that record temperature was impossible given the meterological phenomena at the time (source). So Death Valley actually didn't get that hot.

But nevermind, continue to ignore the facts and stick to your baseless claims, because that's what you do.

Global warming is a climate change, one that is believed to be caused by human industrialization.

It is scientifically accepted that greenhouse gases created by human activity has increased exponentially the last few hundred years, and the effect of greenhouse gases trapping the heat that would otherwise be released back into the space is known as global warming.

It is generally believed that global warming is caused by the overuse of fossil fuels that produce too much Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere. This has only been around for approximately two centuries, in which we have experienced a dramatic temperature change, especially in the poles. This very fact that the average temperature of the earth raised at an unusual rate is undeniable.

Global Warming means that human civilization is artificially altering the environment negativally, affecting ecosystems all over the world. The polar bear habitat is one example. The decreasing of ice in the North Pole is significant. This is an issue that we cannot ignore.

The United States is one of the leading countries of high Carbon Dioxide emissions.

Global warming exists. Whether you believe it is a problem or not, it exists. Now, what do you think we should do about it, @Blue_marlin98 ? At this rate, islands and costal cities will be underwater in the near future, due to the rapid melting of polar ice.

You do realize that those are less than 100 years ago, right? That's merely a blink of time on the geological time scale. Your statements are proof of rising temperatures that have been unprecedented throughout recorded history.

Africa is good proof of the effects of global warming. As the US went through it's Industrial Revolution a lot of the carbon emissions were carried to Africa by wind currents. You can see a time lapse map of the depletion of it's natural green-land.

The geological time scale is much larger than a mere 100 years.

Do you also deny the Ice Ages that Earth has went through?

Here is a good website by NASA giving us the Facts of climate change:
Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet: Evidence

Here's a summary of the observations by scientist that is backed by statistical evidence:

Absolutely, people with a worldview who do not have the ability to defend that worldview must be shunned and ostracized. They need to be taught their opinion is invalid and worth nothing.

    There is it

Blackwater founder held secret Seychelles meeting to establish Trump-Putin back channel

    Blackwater's founder?

    Erik Prince.

    Betsy Devos' brother.

    @Blue_marlin98 - Any thoughts?

    Check this too!

A Group of Computer Scientists Believes a Trump Server Was Communicating With a Russian Bank

"That wasn’t the only oddity. When the researchers pinged the server, they received error messages. They concluded that the server was set to accept only incoming communication from a very small handful of IP addresses. A small portion of the logs showed communication with a server belonging to Michigan-based Spectrum Health."

Did you know I live in Grand Rapids, MI. Home of Spectrum Health? Did you also know Devos' name is on about half of our buildings in the city, including the Spectrum Children's hospital
