Player Spawn Hologram

+1 Behind the fact that we'll have a lot of issues with this I think this is a great idea!

 

Suggestion:

• Change it from Spawn to Skyblock, Wild, Towns, etc.
• Instead of meebles, make it by rank. So maybe like:

VIP: 1 Hologram in server of choosing (at a time) No colors
Premium: 2 Holograms in server(s) of choosing (at a time) No colors
Exclusive: 4 Holograms in server(s) of choosing (at a time) All colors
Elite: 6 Holograms in server(s) of choosing (at a time) All colors
Supreme: 10 Holograms in server(s) of choosing (at a time) All colors, all formatting codes (bold, italics, etc.)
Ultimate: 12 Holograms in server(s) of choosing (at a time) All colors, all formatting codes (bold, italics, etc.), Ability to have colors change on Holograms (like in Spawn)​

Also, make sure that you cannot have a bunch of holograms together. Spacing!

Ehhh... I don't like this one as much if there's no limit on the amount of holograms that could be created. Too many holograms would mean too much lag and too much visual clutter.

Replace holograms with signs (including colored text and font styles), though, and I'm in!

I don't know how you could manage this easily without a few people just dominating the ad space and time, but I think it could be cool.

 

It simply becomes extremely overpowered as soon as you use ranks. The meeble pricing as of the moment is fine. The hologram is also no longer worth it if it isn't at spawn.

 

Well, I see your point with the ranks, it does become a bit overpowered, but my other suggestion about changing it to Towns, etc. is for people who maybe don't want an ad, and just a cool-looking hologram thing in their town. Maybe have your system for Spawn, and another system in Wild, Towns, etc., maybe one that involves ranks, but really, it is up to the community to decide on these things. Also, so many great suggestions, Onis! You deserve a piece of cake.

 

I'd like to keep holograms as a system type of thing and not have them used in Towns or other servers. People can easily use signs if they wish.

This is just for advertising your shops/casinos/etc at spawn to remove spam from global.

 

Maybe you could scatter these holograms throughout spawn? Some people may want to advertise pvp gear/enchants, so a few holograms near the arena may be good, along with other holograms in other "strategically" placed spaces around spawn. Also, along with the holograms, there could be a way to warp to the advertised place; that would be pretty cool and convenient.
EDIT: Maybe make this a VIP+ perk? VIP is relatively easy to get with meebles, and it could add to the cash flow of the server.
OR
Make it so a majority of the spots are VIP+ only. A few can be bought by citizens, to make it relatively fair game.

 

The idea is that you can put your hologram anywhere, but not too many people can have a hologram at one location. Each person can only have one hologram.

I would love to see this one happen there should be a area where we could put them and they are 100k so not everyone will just go buy one

 

The only issues with these holograms is how much lag they will cause if every player who had something to advertise were using them and I don't see how people can talk in the spawn chat if there are holograms saying go to this awesome place all the time.

Besides those this is an awesome idea and I would love to have it as it would make this server even better if it is unique and not used on other servers as Fuzzlr wants on Meepcraft.
