It appears everytime I try to start MC with this installed I keep getting instantly crashed.

 

What appears? If it really bothers you, you can switch back to your old profile

 

Yeah I did that no problem, I have a problem with my Minecraft where it just likes to crash on its own, I have just re installed it so I'm going to re install this optifine and see if it works.

 

And it works. Thanks man . The problem was just my computer and I knew it was xD

 

Only the 1.7 preview has come out, not the entire thing.

 

Still boosts fps, when it does come out, I can notify you guys. It's basically the same thing, go on optifine.net and download it

Um, I keep getting an error saying: Error, no 1.7.2 found :/

 

Optifine is EXTREMELY buggy at this point in time, so I would not suggest using it.
The graphical errors are too much to handle.

 

Create a new profile using release 1.7.2 and login, I had the same problem and doing this seemed to solve it.

 

optifine decreases my fps..... i guess i need to wait for a stable release

 

It is either optifine or your computer. Optifine works fine for me, but I heard that if you have a really fast computer, optifine slows it down.
