-1 from me, I'm sorry... reading this was kind of like reading VKL's app. I don't really know what to make of it. One of the first things I did was skim for something like this:

And sure enough, there it is. This makes me think it's a troll app. But in case it isn't, I'll take you seriously and give you some honest feedback, because I want to believe you can benefit from it.

Here's the good news. You know a lot about the server, and about Minecraft in general, and you could put that knowledge to great use on MeepCraft as a staff member. You're smart, resourceful, and persistent, and you're definitely not afraid to speak your mind - which I appreciate. I've seen you be kind and helpful, so I know those qualities of a Helper are in you.

But let's be real. You have a lengthy ban history, and while it is possible to move on from your past, it isn't really that far behind you. Just a few days ago, I had to say for the third or fourth time in a couple weeks, "ohDraqq wants to know why he's forum banned (again)." I don't mind doing that, but it's not a good sign for someone who wants to be a Helper. It was only a couple weeks ago that you were railing against staff and the server, insulting several staff members, and making no secret of the fact that you wanted to be banned and were going to quit. Your attitude and behavior toward other players and the server in general is going to have to change if you want to represent MeepCraft as a Helper. I'd like to see you address people's concerns (like the ones epick8 raised) with a little more self-awareness - even if you don't want to go into detail, and even if you believe you were justified in your actions.

But this is the thing... you weren't just complaining about nothing getting done (which would be very understandable). You were calling multiple staff members names and insulting them. I don't hold this against you personally, as we've talked enough for me to get where you're coming from. But if you want to be part of the staff team, you have to be willing to BE a team - to work together with people who you may not like, may not get along with, or may not think should be staff. The apology in your application is a start, but I think you'll need to do more to mend those fences.

Staff would welcome this information. Why not send me a Skype or a forums message, and I'll look into it or pass it to a higher staff member? We can keep it anonymous.

What I really hope to see is for you to make good on the things you're saying in your application, and then re-apply when you've taken more steps to change - or just to bring out the positive sides of yourself that I know are there. If that happens, I'd be glad to support you! Until then, I'm afraid I can't.

 

Oh come on if staff can swear in staff chat why can't he on a damn YouTube comment section.

Me and you have never really seen eye to eye for the most part, and this staff application was certainly surprising. I think that you are certainly intelligent and composed enough to handle the job, but the attitude is a bit concerning. By that I mean that you have a tendency to not play all that well with others. That leads me to the question of how well will you do following directions for quite a frame of time. As a helper the work is tedious and sometimes you don't get a break. Also consider any play-time gone for the first little bit as you adjust to new time management demands, and learning the system.

In regards to the directions, you have seen me, and others take a lot of flak for following them. Being staff also means backing a decision that you truly hate, even if you fought tooth and nail against it behind the scenes. This doesn't mean you have to agree with it all, and if you open an intelligent discussion you can push for or against issues, you have a voice in staff, certainly. But a lot of staff have left due to being on the losing end of one of those discussions, and I do wonder if you'd be one of them.

That being said, I think having fresh ideas coming from a person willing to push for things respectfully is always a good thing. I personally enjoyed and welcomed that in our staff, because decisions not defended are generally bad ones. But you really need to want to be staff to be successful, and it comes with some costs. It can ruin the game for you afterwards, as has happened with many staff.

I don't know if you'd be suitable for staff, but I think you're intelligent enough to be a capable staff member.

and oh the 13 year olds that look up "big words" on google like abrasive and trying to somehow fit the word conscious into their sentences in an attempt to make what they're saying more intelligent.

If you could please tell me one staff member who hasn't held a grudge, that'd be great. There was also no need to insult ohDraqq like that, you are supposed to give constructive criticism, not assault the dude.

Once again, people who have as little experience with the server like you should not be able to comment on staff applications.

Introduction:
Hi, I’m Ryan, or as some of you know me, OhDraqq. I’ve been on Meepcraft for about a year, In which i have had many towns, and met many friends within Meepcraft, Such as Kdocherty7, Mattisaperson, Haztheman, j00med, JDL and Shad0w. I like to play video games, and I’m an extreme steam player. I’ve taken an avid interest into sports, such as football and tennis (which if I don’t say so myself, I’m pretty good at them.)

Being one of the “popular people” on Meep, I get a lot of the behind-the-scenes information. I know who’s duping, who’s hacking, and who’s breaking the law. Being that I’ve gotten somewhat bored of being supreme, and I see no future in being an ultimate soon, I’d apply for staff and see what I can do to help Meep. Now, I know my ban history and my actions don’t really seem to correlate with being a staff, but I’d like to change that if it means I could become a staff member.

Why you should be Helper?

Experience: I’ve been admin’d, mod’d and helper’d on plenty of different servers, of course none of them are as big as Meep, but I am very familiar with all the commands. In real life, I work for Kyle's (Kdocherty7's) Dad's Ice Cream truck, and interact with children of all ages all day, giving me the qualities of patience and hardworking if I set my mind to it.

Work Ethic: Well, once I do something I make sure it gets finished. Being a worker at an Ice Cream truck, I know that I need to finish my job as quickly and efficiently as possible, while still staying patient. I’m also very persistent in what I do, as my ban history shows a couple of ban evading alts.

Dedication: I’ve been on this server for over a year, and always come back even though I try to quit. Maybe it’s just for the people, but since I’m going to be on Meepcraft, I might as well have fun doing it.

Justification: I should be helper for plenty of reasons. I’ve taken into notice that the server is under-staffed plenty of times, and that modreqs take forever to do. I’m also very familiar with hacks of all sorts, from being staff and playing on many pvp/faction servers, so I could be another staff to help with the catching of hackers.

Involvement: I’m almost always involved in the community of Meepcrafters, sometimes in a good way other times in a negative way. Either way, I know most about what’s going on with meep as far as a donor should know. (Sometimes I get a little extra knowledge though ) I’m good with the community, and some people love me, while others would like to see my guts burn in the fiery pits of hell. I'm always on Teamspeak, even if I'm not in game, and I'm always on Skype for people to contact me.

Weaknesses:

Aggressive - I have an aggressive side to me, which commonly shows out if I PvP and lose, if someone’s trolling me, or when someone is annoying me. I’m pretty sure a lot of staff have seen my aggressive side, which I apologize to those who have, I feel that I'm overcoming this weakness, but I thought I'd add it in anyway.

Ban History - I know my ban history is long and all, but I’d like to know if you guys trust in me that I’ve changed. I’ve been given countless amounts of chances and this time, I’d love to be for real and actually prove it. If you guys could give me the chance, I’d love to show you what i can be

Judgmental - Occasionally, I will be very judgmental of some activities on server that I do not approve of. One of them is the recent applications that were accepted for interview, as I feel that many of those players aren’t qualified. Then I realized, that hey, if they can get helper, so can I!

Conclusion:
I know my past may be completely different, but I want to prove that I can change. If you guys give me a shot at staff, I would be more than glad But if not, I understand, please leave feedback and comment below as to why you think I do or deserve staff.
