whats gamma?

 

Gamma was the latest towns world, added August 20th and deleted Jan 2nd I guess... It was a semi-restart from Legacy, so that players could still continue to play legacy, but most people transferred to gamma. It had a separate eco and all the mini games, parkour, and voting were in it.

May I ask when's the server going to start running? I'm not trying to rush it, just confused at the same time, excited.

You know, Mojang even went as far as to ban non-cosmetic voting rewards like meebles and temporary perks, unless they're given to the whole server, regardless of whether or not the players receiving the rewards have voted. If thats not a reason to screw the EULA then I don't know what is.

 

You act as if this server can exist while being non-compliant with the EULA.

Jobs and mcmmo? That is exciting. After looking at everything that has been happening, a reset like this is probably the best thing that could happen that would fix all the issues the server has been having with the EULA. With all the different perks and other things that were implemented that were not EULA compliant, really the only effective way of moving forward would have been a complete reset and the people in charge need to really evaluate what can stay and what needs to go. For so long, myself and many other people who had really enjoyed being a part of this community have kinda sat on the sidelines and watched as the server (from a business standpoint and its player count) has just plummeted downhill. I guess this can partly be due to the fact that minecraft really isn't as popular as it was back in the day when Meep was on top, but a lot of other things can be to blame. The staff team needs to examine what has happened to the server over the past 6-12 months and learn from it to figure out what aspects of the server they need to allocate their resources to. You can't just rebuild the player count overnight, or in a week or a month. Finding the next fad ( the new hot minigame of the month/year) is not a way to build the community for the long term. Hopefully everyone can learn from this situation and use it to make the server better. From now on hopefully the people in charge will be true to their word and implement only the things that the community wants. The staff team is filled with people who really are good at what they do for the most part, so I believe that they will make the right decisions going forward and put Meep back on its feet.

With that being said, I am excited to maybe take a step back into the Meep game. I think there are so many things that can be implemented to make Meepcraft an even better towny server.

the server will be blacklisted if it's still violating the EULA, and then people will have to download something like squid hq to join the server.

and not everybody is willing to download another launcher, and it will damage the player count

I realized how little I have to do without meep now. I have played Battle Field 1 so much that I went from rank 6 to 39 in 7 days lol.

 

Fuzzlr bypassed the blacklist in two days.

 

What happens when it is reported again by butthurt players that were banned? Unless you want to use SquidHq for the rest of Meep's existence.

1 Get reported
2 Get blacklisted
3 Bypass blacklist
4 Get reported again
5 Get blacklisted again
6 Find another way to bypass blacklist
7 Repeat process steps 3-7

 

I thought there was only Beta and Alpha

 

I'd rather have 100 players with blacklist than 30 players with stupid EULA

By the way, you can't get blacklisted again because we are already technically blacklisted
