As a lot of you saw, I have been kicking, banning, and muting a bunch of people lately. I wanted to give you an insight to the why that most of you crave and I figure this is an alright place to do so.

As many of you know I recently bought a house and moved. I bought an old farm house and it needed work so I was pretty much forced to take time away to get things in order to set up my new office. I was gone for approx 2 months but was still active on the team chats. I was talking to family who came to visit and see the new house and my younger cousins (who love minecraft) asked me for the server details of Meep. I was caught kindof off guard when I realized I wasnt sure if I wanted them to play here because of all the negativity in chat and the malicious content I see on the daily. I know we have a good staff team and I was confident we would be able to hide all that from them, but I realized Meep needs a lot of work to get back in order to be a lot of fun again. It put me in the mode where I couldnt wait to get back on Meep and start fixing things. Getting new PVP servers up and fixing mini-games people have been pumped about. When I left, things were in full cruising mode and just going smooth. When I returned however, a different story emerged.

I was greeted with a town named "Klutch_Queercals" from Magnoot. Now, I make a lot of jokes and can certainty take some, but Meep was not only NOT the place for a name like that, but I have never made jokes like that towards Mag as I feel jokes of that level are reserved for friends. I got annoied and messaged Mag (No kick or ban) just to simply say "Change it". I was immediately pushed back against with "You make mom jokes all the time on your teamspeak!" and "You're a hypocrite!". Called a few other names and found myself having to defend myself while asking for the simple task of a rude town name to be changed.

A day goes by and I am seeing people type about a funny creative build. I teleport there and notice a few crucifix and people cracking beers, ect, but nothing harmful and seeing as it was FamousZamos build, I knew he was doing it harmlessly to get a laugh. I figured id let it slide and carry on. I then see about 4 people in a small building and teleporting people there. I went inside to have a look. Saw some interesting things but 1 in particular of me in a sexual position with another staff member. Now again, I go back to this is NOT the place for that type of content in the first place, but again I dont know Zamos like that and dont expect jokes to be made about me on that level when we are not friends.

I used a ban strategy I like to use when I feel something NEEDS to be discussed and I perm banned him. This was to ensure we would have a chat before he was unbanned as I felt it was important to hear from him, why he thought it was alright to make a joke like that on Meep. If I had simply 1d or 3d him, he could ignore me and go right back to it in a little while, but I felt the conversation was one that needed to be had.

After I made the ban, I was welcomed back by DarkKnight with nothing but arrogant comments in global as to, (How the ban should have been handled). I was flamed and again, called silly names in global. Carrying on about how "You can guess who did the ban", ect. After I asked him to stop a few times, I got MegaStufOreo logging in and beating to the same drum. "That ban isn't a perm, its a 1d". "He shouldn't be handling his own issue", so on and so fourth. At that point, I had muted both of them because I had enough of the arrogance in global. Thats when Creepersareokay started messaging me and typing what they were saying into global, so he was warned, continued, then muted as well.

After a few minuted I'm messaged "You should TP to Dark and see what hes writing about you on signs". I go and see that hes flaming me and continuing his arrogant, ignorant rant about how its bias and how I'm power tripping, how I'm a man baby, ect. To the point where I permed him as well.

Thats most of the story, but now to address a few things. I know a lot of you joke with me and thats fine. Despite rumors, you can certainly joke with me and im all about it. As long as it stays friendly like, Nerf king, Eco cop, whatever you want as long as its all in good fun. When it becomes harmful or personal, thats when I have the issue. I dont attack any of you on a personal level and I expect the same from you. If it was one joke, Alright let it go, but its CONSTANT from this group. Im the never ending target of the malicious content that comes out of 1 core group of individuals, and I've had enough. I dont think its fair that I have to feel uncomfortable bringing my family on a server I administrate on for free because of a core group of players. The malicious content I see posted in global is what I'm trying to kick as we NEED PLAYERS to come to Meep, and stay. You all complain about a lack of diversity in Meep and prices getting stale and we need this and that, but the common core issue I find is that we just need an influx of players to come to Meep to get things moving in the right direction.

To those that want to be "edgy" and find things in global, this book passage from a book I read yesterday is very fitting and you should read it. Consider it your warning as I will NOT be tolerating ANY negativity, disrespect, bullying, or any other type of content that isn't joyful around Meep. PM me if you have any questions.

"What happens when well-meaning counselors place a delinquent teen among comparatively civilized peers. The delinquency spreads, not the stability. Down is a lot easier than up. Assume first that you are doing the easiest thing, and not the most difficult. Your raging alcoholism makes my binge drinking appear trivial. My long serious talks with you about your badly failing marriage convince both of us that you are doing everything possible and that I am helping you to my utmost. It looks like effort. It looks like progress. But real improvement would require far more from both of you. Are you so sure the person crying out to be saved has not decided a thousand times to accept his lot of pointless and worsening suffering, simply because it is easier than shouldering any true responsibility? Are you enabling a delusion? Is it possible that your contempt would be more salutary than your pity? Or maybe you have no plan, genuine or otherwise, to rescue anybody. You’re associating with people who are bad for you not because it’s better for anyone, but because it’s easier. You know it. Your friends know it. You’re all bound by an implicit contract—one aimed at nihilism, and failure, and suffering of the stupidest sort. You’ve all decided to sacrifice the future to the present. You don’t talk about it. You don’t all get together and say, “Let’s take the easier path. Let’s indulge in whatever the moment might bring. And let’s agree, further, not to call each other on it. That way, we can more easily forget what we are doing.” You don’t mention any of that. But you all know what’s really going on. It is far more likely that a given individual has just decided to reject the path upward, because of its difficulty. Perhaps that should even be your default assumption, when faced with such a situation. That’s too harsh, you think. You might be right. Maybe that’s a step too far. But consider this: failure is easy to understand. No explanation for its existence is required. In the same manner, fear, hatred, addiction, promiscuity, betrayal and deception require no explanation."

My entire point is that you shouldn't be a problem at all. I shouldn't have to deal with you guys doing it in the first place, especially with how many times I've asked you to stop. I understand you want to defend yourself on this thread and thats fine, but saying "You point to us but theirs other players that are toxic too!" is not an excuse to act up. Ill handle the other toxic players (Like I have been) when they act up, no worries there.

I think there's a few lessons everyone can learn from this, even if you weren't involved. Attacking Klutch on a personal level was a pretty low move and it's not something I'm proud of (even though the build was pretty well executed, Meep isn't the right place for all that) but we can't fix the past. What we can do is resolve to better ourselves in the future.

Spongey asked the same question you did in our call, and you have to look inside the mind of the toxic community (the funny toxic players, Me/Mega type not iNexXeR type) and it's two simple things:
    1. Klutch is the center of attention. When he does something there's a massive hecking deal about it. Making fun of Klutch = free attention. Can't speak for anyone else, but for me making fun of Klutch is just a free spotlight. I'll shy away from more personal attacks and focus on better executed humor and of course bring back my delightful sprinkle of salt.

    2. Klutch is the big guy. You know how in a movie you always root for the small guy? The same applies here. Klutch acts like he's hecking invincible (The real Iron Man) so most people don't try to attack him. Most people take personally attacking humor farther against Klutch because they don't think it hurts him. (Also when you do stir up the big guy e.g. right now you get waaaay more attention and people defending you than you would otherwise)

No matter what you do people aren't going to like it. Unfortunately Fuzzlr doesn't run the server. Like it or not Klutch "it's nerf or nothing" Decals is pretty much in charge. Klutch, you're going to be blamed for every bad thing, every ban, and every second of downtime even when it has nothing to do with you. I'll try to avoid being a jerk about it, but I can't say much for anyone else.

Understandable, couldn't have said it better myself. Never will do anything similar again mate, sorry for causing all this trouble over a dumb joke, didn't realize all the other stuff until after my ban :/ you're actually a pretty alright dude, should hang out on discord more when you've got the time. I guess what I'm trying to say is: Sorry

I gotta end this thoughtful post with a thoughtful quote don't I?

"Zamos isn't a villian, but he shouldn't be your hero either. He's like... a really messed up god." - Morty Sanchez, "Rick and Morty"

Everyone who is complaining about Mia, I'd recommend going to the appropriate forum "Report a Player" as that's not the issue this thread is discussing

You should consider yourselves lucky you are still playing MeepCraft after being so Toxic on a daily basis. If you disobey Supreme Leader KlutchDecals you will all get BAN. Deal with it!

I’d like it if we stopped causing issues for staff so they can focus on updates for the game, instead of having to make threads on little things like this.

I strongly disagree with this comment, I think everyone should see it as a lesson and just move on, staff can only be lenient for so long, they have better things to do than bicker with teenagers acting like children on a video game, ironic but it is how it is, getting rid of them so they can see their wrong is an easier solution in my honest opinion

How is minimodding any different from trying to make sure bans are fair and just as an entity not on the staff team?

Because you hate when people question your bans, but that’s just keeping our staff team in check of corruption (it’s like how media checks the government)

@creepersareokay My mute of you was completely justified. Your recollection seems correct but you started with the annoying "Free them 2k18" thing inciting spam, I warned you to let it go or I was going to mute, You kept going. This is exactly what I talk about when I say it gets old having to moderate you when you act like a child. When people start the "Free them 2k18" thing, I shouldn't have to ask more than once to knock it off. Then I have to deal with you relaying "Mega asks how he's supposed to talk to his toxic buddies for purely town-related stuff". . . Enough is enough.

@MegaStufOreo I appreciate your comment and hope we can stay on the positive said of each others humor from here on out.

@FamousZAmos Thats all I want. I enjoi your humor when its meant for fun.

It's hard to imagine a moderator going from enforcing the rules and helping keep the server in order to breaking those same rules and causing numerous problems, all in a matter of weeks. Here's a little history of the subject. I resigned on a good note, stating that I had things in my life that I had to attend to. However, I could have stayed without a problem. It was simply that I was upset with the way things were being run. I could have stopped there, and left behind the problems I had with the staff team at that time. Instead, I took it into my own hands to break countless rules and make their job all that much harder for the sake of protesting what I believed to be unfair, without once evaluating all the other ways I could have dealt with it. And for some reason, that went on for about 10 months, to where we are now. Over time, I made myself a legendary reputation of being toxic, which I did not want to let up. After a bit, I had no more ambition to protest what I disagreed with among the staff team, but rather to withhold my reputation. It became a game to me, where people relied on me to give them a good laugh. And it took me until about last month to realize what I was doing was idiotic, yet I still did it. I was a moderator some time ago, and the crap I got could be troubling. Looking back at that, I can't imagine how it is being an administrator, and practically running the entire project as a whole without Fuzzlr in game too much currently. I was inconsiderate, idiotic, and overall misguided in what I thought was cool. If I were in your shoes, I would be handling this situation so much worse, which brings me to finally understand what I should have understood a long time ago: Quit giving the ol' fella a hard time. You get enough crap as it is, and I'm sorry to have been a part of that.
With that being said, your mute was perfectly justified. Maybe the first punishment that has taught me anything other than to get back to being toxic as soon as I log back in. There comes a point in time where you have to realize that making fun of one person isn't worth a few laughs. Rather, it's worth a ban. Something that I should have been hit with a long time ago. So, to all reading this, next time you decide to make fun of an admin just because it earns you a spotlight, remember how you'd feel if you were them. To close this up, the comment I made, which goes far past the definition of idiotic, was something that I hope to never see myself making again. But rather than apologizing for that comment, it'd be better to apologize for all of my actions in the past 10 months, which shouldn't be forgiven. You have more important things to deal with, and my behavior shouldn't be in the way. We all have our side of the story, and I couldn't see that.
