my 2nd stupid admin ban? (no jk, 3rd)

If this is true you can actually get Klutch demoted or at the very least in trouble for staff corruption. I strongly recommend that you make a staff comment about it.

 

Knowing what I know -- You probably crossed the line, regardless of how unprofessional his comment may have been.

No you can't because this isn't an entity where corruption is a concept. Admins also set policy and can break it at any time if they wish.

 

This is true. And I guess this is a flaw in the system. I don't believe an Admin should be able to trump feelings over the factual aspect of any appeal, where the staff team decide if certain players, many of which are paying customers of meepcraft, can come back to the server. Even though they are banned, they should still be considered a loyal player and given some level of fairness.

 

But you also have options, rarely do staff ban for reasons not even specified by rules.

If you dislike the system, you can stop frequenting the server.

If one is truly banned for no reason after spending money, then I would imagine one could do what most customers do that do not receive adequate product for the money spent.

 

I was banned a few months ago on the forums for what the staff team decided could be worded as "Rules Violations"

Now what does "Rules Violations" even necessarily mean?
It could mean almost ANYTHING that falls out of line with what the staff team dictates what "normal forum behavior" is.
This seems minor but I'm really adamant that "Rules Violations" should not be a valid reason to ban any player, in the forums or in game.

 

That's when you get auto-banned from warning points. Which you can view in your profile.

However I would have liked if the ban message was more personalized by a staff member who would review the reasonings behind the points.

Sorry where did you hear this? I gave all mod+ permission to handle any bans I make close to 6 months ago. Also, once again; YOU DO NOT GET TO SET RULES, SET GUIDELINES, CHOOSE THE WAY WE RUN THINGS, OR HAVE ANY SAY IN ANYTHING DONE BEHIND THE LINE OF PLAYER>STAFF. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT< YOU KNOW WHERE THE [X] IS.

1. Go get banned on another large server
2. Appeal.
3. Tell them you dont like their policies
4. Come back and tell me how it went.
5. Stop thinking that just because we have active conversations and are open with the community gives you the right to tell us how to do anything, or have any say with how we do things.

Miku denied you because after a unanimous decision in staff chat, We can clearly see you cant figure out how things run around here, or how to act. I didnt vote btw because I didnt want you to think I was bias so I had nothing to do with the process.

Or maybe not. Like I said I gave anyone mod+ the ability to do whatever they want with my bans because I dont see how "Admin" makes me any different than them. That was the day I got admin so. . . months ago . . RIP?

It also wouldnt increase your chance at getting unbanned so. . Whos bias again?

Well I apologize for being unaware to something that doesn't happen at all. Am I just supposed to know that you allow mods to handle your bans? You haven't really established this in a way that makes sure a lot of the community actually knows about it.

 

Well you know that "Only admins handle admin bans" and thats not written anywhere so im sure you can figure it out.
It doesnt matter if the com,munity knows about it BECAUSE ITS SOMETHING STAFF DOES. Why cant you understand lololol.

 

For one, it's common in ban appeals for the first staff or 2nd to say that an admin ban will be handled and the final decision will be made by an admin. What almost never happens is the admin saying that a mod can handle an appeal. The only example I can see is Imacutyou's appeal which is referenced in this thread.

I think the community should understand this because you do ban some number of players.

 

Ive banned 2 players in the past 3 months.

You all constantly crave to know the inner working of staff because you think it may give you an advantage in your bans / appeals. Maybe somehow formulating a way to get us in trouble or demoted, (Clearly expressed in this thread btw.)

If you took 10 minutes to get to know me instead of acting like im some giant ahole for banning you, Maybe you would understand that my "bias" is more of tough love. I ask you to scavenge through every post and thread and rule and whatever you need to find 1 time where I was clearly bias and didnt try to work with the person banned. I gave speedyjake, VKL, noobslayer, Caleb (even helped him get staff!) and many other players a chance to come back and worked with them. Some get it, Some dont. Not much more I can do.

But bias? Lol thats just a salty word because you have nothing else on me.

Ask around for how many times I covered for certain people. Maybe didnt ban, Didnt give warning points, Heck I even give Xrayers warnings the first time I see it. All I do is write it on my sheet and send a message saying "I have proof you xrayed. If I find it again I have to ban. Hack clients are illegal here".

And for the last time.

IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THEY UNDERSTAND. WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT BECAUSE WE. MAKE. THE. RULES.
