/mute or /ignore

Courtneyyy this is fr. Can you please give me a reason that this is indisputable and won't be accepted. Its a feature that will help so many people and stop so many arguments/players fighting in global. It does more good than bad

That doesn't even make sense lol. Why not make it 5 then. Its a feature thats helpful af. you may not need it but others do.

 

Why not just a mute for 2 hours every time the command is run, and you could only have 3 mutes active at any time?

Having mutes allows for some arguments to be avoided, and that is a huge thing.

The only negative thing would be if someone got offended.

anyways. It's just dumb. how about you just... not acknowledge the person.
It's also going to get really really annoying for staff to tell someone to shut up or stop harassing this person and then they go "Well! They should just /ignore!"

It's going to cause splitting and its not necessary especially with the player pool we have.

 

I hate when my friends /tp spam me. Like can we just have a do not disturb mode where only staff can pm and tp to me.
For original suggestion it's not really needed. Usually we just troll people back. Plus good staff.

 

+1, this will stop the endless "I wish I could /ignore <person that I hate and am being passive aggressive to>!" spam. As long as two people are playing on the server, there will be someone doing that.

Really though, I don't actually have an opinion, since I don't think this is that necessary, but I'd like to know why it isn't working, seeing as it's an Essentials built-in. Was it purposefully disabled?

 

There is simply no need to add this at this time. If there is really an issue, we already have server staff to handle the cases in which /ignore would be useful. Denied!
