Monkey's Moderator Application.

This is a weak application. I don't know how much more I can stress that without becoming unnecessarily mean. It didn't paint a picture in my mind of why I'd want to have you as a moderator rather than as a helper. In conjunction with the small wealth of experience I've had with you on the server, as well as the 0 experience I've had with you on ts, I don't think I know you well enough to even give you a +/-.

Get stuck in in all areas of the community, not just here and there, and put more effort into your next application.

Monkey, you are most definitely not ready for Moderator as of now.
~Application: First off, the application. The application was short, I'll agree with that, but it wasn't too sweet or great. Your Why section spoke almost nothing about why you should really get a promotion, only that you learned from your mistakes and that you feel ready for your promotion. If your Introduction/MeepExperience is longer than your Weaknesses or Why section, there's something going on that should be fixed. Just as a long application doesn't mean it's good, the same goes for a short application. Not every short application is sweet, too.

~Activity: Though I see you on forums or in game quite often, I can't say that I'm too impressed with what you've been doing. Staff does work behind the scenes on more than one occasion, but I see you playing around a bit too much for my liking. Your activity is much better than others, and your efforts to help did improve, but I would suggest spending more time getting completely focused on something. It doesn't have to start with modreqs, but just don't let yourself get too distracted.

~Maturity: I do not believe you are mature enough to become a Moderator. I've seen you do unjust kicks and bans, and sometimes you let things slip while moments later you ban or kick someone else who committed exactly the same infraction. It happens to everyone, I must say, but it's more of the unfairness part that I am worried about. Even when I see you concentrating and being in a serious manner, sometimes you change into the informal manner when you should be focusing on what you're doing. At least that's what I've heard and seen.

Anyways, good luck on your applications, but my score will be a -1.

 

I don't really see the reason for you wanting to be mod.

To move up in the system, gain more power??

You seem to be doing just fine as helper know, minor mistakes, but I don't really know your past.
Your application was lacking a lot of crucial information; I think you should just stay as helper for a while and do a good job with that position.

You seem to wanting to move up in position so quickly, in other words being staff is staff, show dedications and etc and apply several weeks later.

Okay, Monkey, I really like you and you're an amazing friend, but for your sake I won't let that effect my vote.

You are quite active on all aspects of the server and all the experiences I've had with you have been very positive. You talk frequently in shout and you have always helped me out when I needed it. But a month isn't a whole lot of time for Helper. I honestly have nothing negative to say, except maybe you should wait a little longer for Mod. I personally would love to see you as Mod, but I just don't know whether or not you're ready for it.

I guess that leaves my vote as a +/-. Good luck, Monkey!
