Did you not just come back out of nowhere and get helper?

lets promote him on the fact that hes has 400 modreqs... something mods are supposed to leave for the helpers and not do as much since they have other duties

all this proves is that he is on the server too much

my point still stands: you have the whole staff team wrapped around your finger and are using them to your advantage to get high in the ranks. you have done little to nothing for the community in the past week other than type /claim and /done... and not too many out of staff even know much about you. you can stop riding deinen now, ty.

Yes, you deserve a promotion after the week you have been staff! Let's widen the gap between staff and the community even more! He came back recently? Who cares, promote! He can type /claim 400 times and knows basic server knowledge? Obvious traits for an amazing staff member! Showing desperation to climb up the power ladder as quickly as possible? +1, interview immediately!16 forum posts in the past year and a half, 90% of which are staff related? Impeccable forum activity! This is exactly what the server needs, another staff member that does not support the constant crumbling of the bridge between players and staff!

You know what you are doing. It's been 9 days since you got staff, and you have 400+ modreqs. You work hard, have the activity, and you have been in the position before.

Introduction

My name is Filipe Castro, and you all know me as Castroifyer. Meepcraft was a huge part of my life before I had to take my Hiatus, and since I have come back it has once again become that same part of my life. I find an immense pleasure in playing on this server with many players that I have genuinely known for years, a pleasure you could not describe unless you experience it yourself. In a conversational Skype chat, Deinen0 described staff by describing how much we change lives on this server, and it really hit home for me. Regardless of who the staff is, you become a family, whom you'd do anything for. Having that feeling once more is more than amazing to me, and I am honored to be a part of the team that runs this great server once more. In my time as Helper for the past 9 days, I have completed over 450 modreq's and have over 25 bans.

Why I should be promoted to Moderator

In my short time as Helper, I have had to relearn and remember many things, and this has been nothing but an enjoyable experience for me. I love learning new things, and getting to relearn all these things has excited me greatly. I don't think there are words to explain the satisfaction of successfully helping a player and having them tell you that they love Meepcraft, something you've helped make great. To add on to this, with my past experience of Super-mod, I feel that I am overqualified for the helper position. With four new Helpers coming in in the 9 short days I have been helper, I have tried my best to answer any questions that these players have, and have even been writing a document to better introduce them and newer recruits to the role. When you become a Moderator, you take on many more responsibilities than as a Helper, you become an even larger player in the public eye, and have to appoint yourself as such. This is something I feel quite qualified for, and have no worries of. The Moderator role comes with far more strength in a staff perspective, and you are given many more commands and abilities to help protect the server. These are all commands that I have past experience with, and know how to use to their full potential. I am also able to keep calm and reserved in times of great stress. Some Moderators may not be able to function properly under the great stress that can come to these situations, but it is something I excel at. As well as this, Moderators are also expected to teach new helpers, which again, I have explained to be something that I greatly enjoy.

In my past, as some know and as I stated in my Helper Application, I spent time as a Manager for a semi-professional LoL team, and a player on another. Due to this, I have built up many contacts and have learned how to interact with corporations and other people with formality and ease. This ties into the Moderator position, as you constantly have to interact with the player base, far more than Helpers do. I feel that in my past experiences, and past accomplishments, I have given myself all of the skills that are sought for in a Moderator.

Weaknesses

No one is perfect, and I surely have flaws as well.

Immaturity - While in TeamSpeak, I have been known to be immature at times. The vast majority of these times however, are when I am with friends. While it is still something I need to work on, I can assure the server that I always try my best to act accordingly to any situation or company that I have.

I am blunt - Generally if I have an opinion, I will state it. Sometimes this may come off as rash or mean, however I assure you I do not mean it that way. This in some ways can affect me negatively, however there are not many things I am blunt on that I am not passionate about. If I am blunt, you may be assured that it is something I feel quite strong about.

Short Temper - While this is something very minor that I have, I feel it needs to be addressed. If I have asked someone many times to act in a certain way, not do something, etc., I may occasionally act rashly. Very rarely does this affect me on Meepcraft, but is still a weakness of mine that should be shared.



Conclusion

Many will say that 9 days is a very short period to be a Helper, and I fully agree. However, what I think sets me apart from the rest of the pack so to speak is my undeniable love of, well, Helping. I truly enjoy working in the spotlight and behind the scenes, and have devoted more time than I can count to help grow this server.

I implemented it on my now private server for me to mess around on and it took me about 2 days to get it. some people get it quickly some don't. castro works very hard and being moderator, to be honest, isn't that big of a deal. i have seen people who have become moderator that definitely do not deserve it, but i believe he does. he is more than capable of teaching helpers and doing ban appeals.
