MeepOlympics Summer 2016

Well the whole point of the game was for towns to try to compete against each other, but I guess I can add something to th next thread regarding people who would rather represent a group other than a town. Anyone who wants to participate will be able to.

 

Or maybe DreamCraft can have 2 teams?

 

Bigger towns can have more teams. As long as the tournament isn't flooded with too much of the same town

 

Hey man, when I get unbanned (2 days starting from a few hours ago) I'll try my hand at building an arena. Neither of my towns will be entering but I am interested in hosting.

 

See if anyone in your town would want to sign up and make a team

 

My towns are inactive; may I join a group as well?

 

There will be an option to join as a group. It seems like there aren't as many people as active now than there was when the first Olympics took place. Because of this we are going to make sure everyone who wants to participate will.

I know some people who also live in Dreamcraft who may be interested. I'll check with them, and see if we can form some teams. @legendcaleb you are part of Dreamcraft, if you require a town.

 

If profit is what you're kicking yourself for, then you should know that I didn't make any money off of this and I do not plan on making a profit on this now. The entree fees were to pay for supplies and such. We were also lucky to have gotten many donations by staff members and other members of the community to have good rewards for the winners

I mean, this would be awesome, but it has NEVER worked. Then someone does it and says they can do it. They can't. It loses interest immediately from players. Best of luck, but I never participated in these because I thought I'd never see my money go to good use.

 

I understand your concern. Around this time in 2013 I hosted this with the help of a handful of other active players from that time and though it took time and planning it worked and was a lot of fun. I'm not sure how many other people tried to have events like this in between then and now though.

 

Hmm I remember when we did this event. I don't remember it working. Maybe it did.
