Well.... I hope that this allows Meep to start over, and re-assess what it wants to become. Admittedly i will miss /fly, but i hope it now allows for greater expansion. Good luck to everyone involved, and hope everyone realizes what a great community we have here, everyone is being positive about that change (well almost everyone, I am exempt from this).

 

I admit, its extremely disconcerting to double jump and not leap into the air. Other than /fly, I'm not sure I will miss too many of the perks - I guess /fix is the next perk I use most.

If it was only me, I'd probably be freaking out, but since we're all in it together . . . who knows, maybe having everyone on a lot more even playing field might improve the game. Time will tell. People who are freaking out should maybe take a deep breath and a step back for a little bit.

You were actually the first person I thought of - you've poured money into this server and I'm not sure the swings and roundabouts are going to apply to you appropriately. Again, time will tell. If I were you, I'd put a halt to spending meebles for a few days.

As to other servers - they haven't been shut down YET. Once they are, I wonder how hard it will be for them to restart.

But before I do, might I suggest un-nerfing villager spawning for Legends? That might mitigate some of the pain. Maybe.

media has it to get shots of the server
They should only be allowed to use /fly when working for the server imo

Thats cause the players and even admin staff were lied to (not by Mojang)

 

actually, it seems that the architects and medias would need it the most...

architects build things(sure flight might not be necessary when it's just a personal thing)
media makes videos(a video on the ground would look rather odd in my opinion)

 

/fly would be extremely useful to mods when doing things like looking for xray or just ease of use in some certain situations

 

Couldn't have agreed more. Architects/Media/ and SuperMod+ need /fly to preform their jobs.

 

Staff perks do not infringe upon the Eula unless the rank is available for hard currency, which it isn't.
I would imagine no sane person in management plans to have archs and mods handle everything without /god or /fly.

 

Could you give me an example of something built for the server? I see them around, but I have no idea what they're building.

 

Currently some of them are working on SkyWars maps and if i am right, andrewrobins is making changes to spawn aswell?

 

Thanks leah - as I said, I have no idea what they're doing, not just recently, but historically. Clearly they need /fly in those areas - perhaps if the "limited /fly for meebles" is introduced (for all ranks), Archs and Media could be issued free notes to use on those tasks, rather than having to shell out their own meebles to build for the server. I wouldn't think they would need unlimited /fly (which I still believe Mod, SMod, Admin and Owner should get - I assume Techs also [another mysterious "Rank" that I have no idea what they're doing, other than trying to fix 10 billion flaws])

This sounds awesome! It makes up for finding out I got elite for spawners and now everyone can have them.
