Meep isn't dying.

sorry for being positive. it's just what the server needs.

 

Well when you put a lot of work into a server both as staff and as a player just for it to be thrown I your face and then critizized for your concerns, you can't blame a person for being negative.

 

Hmm i agree with the premise of the idea, and staying positive is always important. But realistically, Trello is a nightmare... I mean techs must have little bit of them die inside when the see it. However, i believe that we are reaching a point of players, similar to my age, of people having spent a large amount of time on meep, which is a reason of the large number of farewells. (Most though saying farewell are ones suggesting meep is dying)

 

I enjoy how you say "enjoi." It's really great.

The team is trying to do what they can, and they can't spread themselves so thin that nothing gets done. Hopefully with everything coming out this will kind of be a reset for everyone here without being a reset. (If that makes sense?)

We can't ignore the fact that there is a dwindling community and once someone says something negative and another person backs it up, it just never seems to stop. We shouldn't be saying "Meep isn't dying" because that is trying to ignore it, but we should be trying to stay positive for whatever the future holds. I just hope that Meep goes back to feeling like Meep, because it was once an enjoyable place to be with things to do and just happy things to talk about with a lot of goofing around and having fun.

It doesnt matter if you spent tons of money on professionals to redo the server with amazing ideas and buildings, when I type in an ip for a server and it has less than 25 players, im out (unless its a really cool modded server), even if it looks extremely nice what matters ultimately is a GOOD community and people being active in global.
Plus i'm not gonna lie meep was kind of hard to get into unless you have a friend that shows you around which did happen to me so I started to play and it was really good, I probably have 2 thousand + hours on minecraft in general and I spent 95% of that play time on meep.

This is a nice thread, but you a good looking server with options as a start, but you need a good community and active players.

Also This is important, I know this thread looks happy but its not, every time someone mentions meep dying or not dying it reminds players of the ultimate fact that there are people talking about something dyeing even if its not true or people say its not true its still negative, if the community just stopped talking about the server dyeing and went on playing as usual with fuzzlr upping the advertisements for the server, we might eventually recover. Also I know im a hypocrite for even writing this post. But anything mentioning meep not dyeing or meep dyeing its still negative.

 

It can't be an opinion. It is a fact. It's like saying a 90 year old is about to die is an opinion.

This comment is for all the nay sayers here, idk about one TOWNY-server that does not reset. When you have a economy like we have, it is good for the server to reset from time to time. And meep hasn't even done a full reset, the other eco is still there, it is just that it is split. Also saying that meep is dying is funny to me, we had 91 people on 2 days ago, that is more then we have had in weeks.

So for the negative people here, look up, down and to the sides. Because meep is coming back to bite you in the ass.

And for all you positive people, stay positive, meep is changing and the gameplay is more fun now then it has been in weeks. The new gamma is awesome! And i bet more stuff will be added as we go, even Fuzzlr is playing the game, EVEN FUZZLR, do you have any idea how mind blowing that is. Like not just running around in spawn, he was actually playing yesterday xD
