All the trailers posted on the thread were dead-serious ones with annoying music and just the same over and over; screenshots and videos of amazing sculptures on Meepcraft. Don't get me wrong, most are pretty damn good, but just so repetitive.
Well, is Meepcraft really about amazing sculptures? I mean, when the majority of Meepers are asked "What is your favourite aspect of Meepcraft?" Most answer - The Community. So that is exactly what I tried to present Meepcraft as in my trailer. I used up-beat music, as much gameplay as I could - with some scenes showing global chat - and yet I still had, mostly at the end, a few scenes of what Meepcraft looks like. If I were to say so myself I'd say I'd done a pretty damn good job, which serves it right considering I spent at least 10+ hours recording and editing.
And yet even though it took 10+ hours, I only started on this yesterday morning, - and yes I was at school today lol. What I am trying to say here is I can make nice trailers fast and efficiently. And I mean, if dead-serious is what would be required of me in the Media Team, I'm still very much capable of doing it.

Pretty good point of view Mocking. I think "dead-serious" + community complement themselves and will make a good team together .

 

Yours started repeating at the end, because you couldn't find anything else to film, and you had to find fillers...Don't call others repetitive if your's is just as repetitive.

 

Actually I had a ton I wanted to film (Skyblock, Halo) but a I did feel that a quick showing of the spawn at the end was necessary.

But you're 100% entitled to your opinion so thanks for your input

I'm making a kitpvp trailer, but I'm not done yet. Do submissions end when you get on forums on the 23rd or at the end of the day?

I found the song on a website called freemusicarchives.org , so I don't think there should be any problems regarding copyright.

 

Not big deal ! The music from my trailer was picked up from NCS, no copyright problems .

I will like to add a little TIP: just in case, to prevent any copyright issues, I recommend writing in the description the name of the song, the artist, a link to NCS' youtube channel, and a sentence saying you don't own the song's rights .

Yes but as long as you clearly state who the credit goes to etc and take the video down if they ask you to (They never do anyway lol) you won't have any problems.

 

Dosent matter, unless the person actually alowed you to use it, Its still a problem

 

No, trust me, I did hours of research on this. The particular song "Best day of my life" is fine to use if you give rightful credit and don't monetise the video. The artists can choose to monetise it for themselves, but rarely do.
