This is the second time you've tried to attack my character about things you have absolutely zero knowledge on. At least I waited for you to demonstrate you're stupidity before I called you stupid. This would be akin to me attacking your parents for utterly failing to raise a decent educated human being and encouraging them to go back in time and have an abortion.

Your words don't hurt anyone's feelings. Your words to any of us at this point mean almost nothing. This is because you have repetitively posted your opinions, which you most of the time cannot sufficiently back up with facts to argue back. I'm only probably posting this because I can probably laugh at your clueless opinions, which you are of course entitled to, but which if put to action, endangers your country, and the world as a whole.

For example, you have said that being homosexual is a choice.
Another example, you have said that being poor is a choice.
A few hours ago, you have told women to just "spit their baby out".

I feel like you lack sufficient experience to be able to debate properly in this forum with other members of the community. From these three things that you said, I can infer that you have little to no knowledge about being homosexual, being poor, and being pregnant. Yes, you are entitled to have your own opinion, but it is impossible to debate with an opinion that contradicts a well known fact.

@Deinen is ashamed to see that some people in this world are uneducated and unintelligent to be able to debate with reason and validity, and especially because that person turns out to be eighteen years old. He is upset because you keep claiming things that you have very little background information on, and fail to back up your claim with factual information. And whenever asked to clarify, you either step out to insult, ignore, switch a topic, or get frustrated.

Personally, I find these types of debates very entertaining, but from a serious debater's perspective, this is just ridiculous. For the love of this thread and all other threads, for the love of your country, please please do not participate in topics that you have no idea about and please do not get frustrated so easily.

With Marijuana legalization, I think that @Blue_marlin98 has a valid point, that it harms our bodies and our productivity. However, like alcohol and cigarettes, they should be legalized, as it gains tax incomes.

 

@Natsu I thank you for taking the time to... type that (partial nonsense). I am up to date on a lot and I know what I am talking about. Most of my information comes from the news itself, interviews of people that I watch and personal experiences. Its hard for me to find a "link/source" because I don't sit behind my computer screen googling the information all day (as @Deinen @WeAreNumberUno @Deljikho and many other do, although that is not a bad way of getting your information, its not what I do). Most of the interviews I watch and most of my opinions are very conservative, it's what I believe in, its just how I think. Many conservatives say things in a meaner way I guess (*cough cough* Ann Coulter) so it makes us seem "ridiculous or heartless" but its completely untrue. Our thoughts are for what is best for the American people (we need to put Americans first) and human beings. I see many of my own family members who smoke marijuana and do drugs and they aren't normal, they have a tone of health issues and 20 years later they are on government assistance. Marijuana messes with your brain (if you claim to drive better when you are high you are just an idiot), it makes you less focused to detail and many more things. People compare cigarettes to Marijuana but cigarettes doesn't effect your body like marijuana, cigarettes cause cancer but thats about it. Same with alcohol, you can't ban alcohol, its actually illegal to drink and drive but so is texting and driving, shall we ban smart phones? Instead why not put an alcohol tester in all vehicles? Your car wont start if you are under the influence. Simple fix to stop that problem.

3) Do you even know what your mother has gone through to give you birth? I don't even need to cite common sense. 42 weeks of pain is a not good enough reason to respect mothers, but you respect your military that kills foreign civilians. (Sorry for the generalization, this is just one part of the US military and not meant to be applied to all, only used for a comparison.)

 

Although some people may think that they love a man or woman of the same sex. It just doesn't work. When a male and male sleep together nothing happens. When a female and female lay together, nothing happens. When a male and female sleep together a baby is born. They can become 1. Gay marriage and relationships just dont work in the way marriage and relationships are supposed to.

Okay, obviously someone has to be the poor one. Not everyone can be rich. We need all classes (poor, middle, rich) in order to have a society. I know no one is going to pick to be poor. When I say its a choice I dont mean you can snap your fingers and boom your rich. I mean most cases you dont want to better yourself. You dont put in the effort.

I respect all mothers for what they went through. I respect all women who dealt with the pain in order to allow me to live. I respect all the mothers who would give up their food in order to give their child food. I respect all mothers who would die for their child. Because that is what a mother does.
I have 0 respect for a female (and male) who gives up on their child, I have 0 respect on the mothers who aborted the child (excluding rape victims and pregnancies that will kill the mother) and didn't allow that baby to breath. I have no respect for someone who gives up and aborts the child because "they didn't want to be a mother or get fat".

I respect ALL military personnel for signing over their life (pretty much) in order for me to have my daily freedoms. They kill foreign civilians before the foreigners kill us. America 1st!

 

How the hell did you bring me into this debate?

I work 9 hours a day in a career I enjoy. I'm a college graduate with a Bachelors in Business Administration and a few Masters level courses. I don't sit here online all day, but I am smart enough to know how to find legitimate sources and to use logical reasoning. I spend perhaps a max total of 2 hours on these debate threads each day, between typing, reading, and doing my own research. You make so many assumptions and just automatically assume them to be fact because it's your belief. It's insane dude.

I work from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (sometimes till 6:00 pm) with an hour lunch. I've been working since I was 17 years old. You're literally more lazy than I am yet you randomly insult me in a post I'm not even debating in about laziness?? I just don't understand.

 

Okay then, well if you claim that it was proven by doctors and scientists, you get to be the one who provides the proof. You can't say something was "proven" and not back it up.

I don't even know what to say. How is being poor a choice? The level of stupidity in this is just insane, and I really don't know what to say.

My best friend right now is really poor. He's the son of undocumented immigrants, and has spent most of his childhood growing up in a trailer in the worst section of town (he recently moved into a small house in a less bad neighborhood). His parents work 15-17 hours per day doing construction to put food on the table for him and his sister, and pay the rent. However sometimes it's not enough and he goes to bed hungry.

[side note: His parents did enough work so that he didn't have to get a job, and our city has been experiencing a real estate boom lately so they were able to find more work to pay for his tuition to an elite private high school. He's going to go to an elite university for a pre-med major, so it has a happy ending].

You're poor. You need to get a job as soon as you're old enough, because you've gotta help your family out with groceries. You now have a job, which means less time for homework and worse grades. You move out when you're 18, maybe because you want to, maybe because your parents are abusive (the rates of child abuse are much higher in low-income homes). You're on your own, and you're supporting yourself. You can't go to college, because who's gonna pay the tuition (loans are an impossibility since you probably have no credit or bad credit, and you're not going to get a scholarship because you have bad grades because you spent all this time at your job).

Even if you do have an income, it's hard to save up money because if you're poor, you can't buy in bulk, so you've gotta buy things in small amounts (with higher prices per unit). In order to move into an apartment, you need to pay the first and last month's rent, which is pretty expensive and is hard to come by. You likely have a bad credit score, making loans an impossibility. You probably don't have a car, because let's face it, cars are expensive, and insurance is even more expensive. The list goes on.

It's actually counter-intuitively really expensive to be poor, and is why a lot of poor people stay poor.
