It's true, i was waiting 20 mins before they finally did something about my problem, Even when I did /modreq, shouted, msg'd, they need to get their act together and start doing their job, and speed up their response to mod requests.

 

I fell you are NOT ready to become staff because

-new to fourms
-never seen you ingame
- never seen you on ts

Well, good things first.
*Decent app - not the best, not the worst. You conveyed your point but didn't go in-depth.
*Hawks are one of my favorite categories of animals.

Bad things:
*Activity - This is one of the worst problems. we have different time zones, but even so, I don't think I've ever seen you on the forums.
*Desperation - It is true that by replying so often, you seem desperate to become helper
*Immaturity, disregard, and arrogance - I grouped these into one simply because they are the most common complaint on this thread and often are linked together for you.

I was neutral until you said this.
You claimed you could be mature when the need arises. Here is a place where maturity is needed. By disregarding Mrli, by "not caring what you [Mrli] think", you are almost completely disregarding the point of the community being able to reply to this thread.
Saying you are good enough to be helper is, to quote mrli, a big no-no. It shows arrogance and rudeness toward members of the community.

As phoenix already said, he was not talking trash about you. He was giving you a suggestion on how to improve, one that it seems you sorely need. And even if it was something rude, a staff member should be able to take it without raging.
*Your recent bans show you still don't know the rules (I'm pretty sure you were just recently unbanned)

For me, this is an obvious -1.
Staff members should be mature, keep their calm, and not be rude to the community. This is the main thing you need to work on.
Don't reply to every specific comment. It shows desperation.
If the community does not approve, don't rage. It doesn't mean we can't change our minds about you.
Start helping in shout, be more active on forums, and learn to accept criticism.

Your comments in reply to -1's show that you are not ready. Saying that people who -1 you don't get a say, but you thank people who +1 you? According to you they don't get a say either. They were giving constructive criticizen, and staff do get criticized.

I'm shocked to hear this, If you apply for staff you should be able to tell who's staff or not.

You've been here for 2 years and think that 45 posts makes you active?

Just a quick summarization:
L33t_h4wk, to put it very bluntly, you seem arrogant and unable to take insults well.
Also, you haven't heard of the staff, and many people never see you in game or on teamspeak.
You are banned often, and seem to not adhere to the rules (teamspeak name different form ign, etc.)
Responding to nearly every comment does indeed make you seem desperate for a staff position, and trying to rebutt everyone who give you a -1 makes you seem hostile, unable to take critisism, and again, desperate.
I lost count after the 25th -1, but I think I am -1 #31.
I wish you good luck on your application, L33t_h4wk, but the general consensus around meep is that you need to mature more, and improve on your weaknesses. Maybe then, you will have the traits necessary for a staff position.

When it comes to reading staff apps, I read the 'why' section before anything else. From reading this section alone, I already see that your application is less than desirable.

I deem a failure to address these two questions is detrimental to any staff application:

• What skills do you have from your life outside of Meep that you can bring with you into staff?
• How would you effectively apply those skills?

Because I can't see what skills you can bring and how you'd apply them, I don't feel I can give you a +1. Think about these two questions and seriously think what value you can add to the staff system, then tell us that value.

This has got to be one of the most immature things I have ever heard.

 

L33t_h4wk, you are online a lot, just at different times, so anyone who said he isn't active, I'd have to beg to differ. As well, I see you active in the /shout as well which is good, but sometimes it's hard to be noticeable unless you are Supreme or higher. Some things you might want to work on is your forum activity, it is still enough but it doesn't show that much dedication on the forums, this does not apply with you in game though. You can also work a bit on your Team Speak activity, it may not be the biggest deal, but it's still there. I'd say that you can easily improve on these things and also get more involved with different players on the server and you can have a shot at staff!

For now, I will say +/- 0 but if you work on your forums activity, by maybe getting it to about 100 posts and 30 likes (Reasonable posts, not pointless ones), and be on Team Speak for something about 20 minutes a day (You don't need to use your mic when you go on, but just be with everyone else), I will change my +/- 0 to a + 1.
