Is God real?

Religious texts can't be disproven. There is nothing that can definitively prove and/or disprove the existence of a supreme being. This is why we need to have a burden of proof fallacy, where the responsibility to prove the existence of a god is on the person staking that belief.

 

God is as real as Zeus.

 

Look, this thread is in a loop:

"God is real."

"Prove it!"

"It's not disproven!"

"Doesn't' mean anything!"

"Doesn't mean God isn't real!"

Each person must decide on their own personal experiences, and by asking themselves if their religion's details make sense in the instance that God exists (as looking at it in any other way always should false). That is the only way to get an answer from this thread.

Its a logical thought process. Assuming you believe in basic genetics (hereditary genes) than in a dog eat dog world only the humans with the best hereditary genes would survive and reproduce.

That literally makes no sense. Why would a day change over the course of a few thousand years. The earth is after all only a few thousand years old.

Idk why they believe it, they believe that the days were a full year cycle( or maybe more ) and that the term was (possibly) lost in translation.

As part of the creation story it includes god creating man. So all the time up until man is created counts as the earth being created. Humans took about 4.6 billion years to appear on the earth, so god took 4.6 billion years creating the earth, so a "day" would have to be 1/7 of 4.6 billion years or about 657142857 years.
Also, the bible says what a day is in the creation story, it says a "day" is the time from morning to evening. So God created the earth in 6 cycles of morning to evening, and God also ruled over the night, so we can assume that he worked through the night anyway, We know humans took a few billions years to evolve, but according to the bible it only took a few days for them to be put on the earth, so the bible is discredited.

Sure it can with the right chemicals. All you need is one cell to form and then over a really long time everything else evolves. (All Species Evolved From Single Cell, Study Finds)

Sure it can, I'll link to a wiki but basically really simple single celled life can come out of a bunch of chemicals, then over millions if not billions of years it can evolve into complex life.
