WHY DID YOU ASK THAT QUESTION!!!

Are you trying to start a forum war or something? This topic can start a bigger flamewar than the Usenet Flamewar of 1999!

*shudders* I was there, I am a Flamewar Survivor. WHERE'S MY MEDAL!!!

If you are after the grammar portion of it. It was not a question intended to be answered. It was rhetorical. Hence I didn't feel a question mark was necessary. I was more curious as to why the question was asked.

Even rhetorical questions need question marks.

Well, it still does not take away from the validity of the statement.

If the message gets across, frankly I could care less about it.

If he was real, and he made us in his image, God would be a pretty crappy being.

    God did not save them.
    You did not save them.

Did you kill 25 million people too?

    js.

Also, I know this thread was made a month ago.

    So... you think that... (example)

Your God wanted to send 2 bears to mercilessly slaughter 42 children (because they mocked a man's baldness), but then realised the error of his ways and decided that he wanted to "save" them, but just couldn't do so?

What sort of god is this, that has a desire to save people from himself, but is too inept to do so? He sounds schizophrenic and incompetent. One minute, he wants to send you to your death, then he wants to "save" you. (Even though he orchestrated your death in the first place)

    Imagine if I said...

"Maybe, the universe was created by Translucent Transecendant Magical Flying Unicorns. Because...
    "

Why don't you show us some reasons to believe in your god, instead of hiding behind humanity's ignorance?

"I get to believe whatever I like, because you can't prove me wrong" is essentially what you're saying here. It's a misunderstanding of the 'Burden of Proof', among others things. All I'm asking for is some good reasons to believe in your god. Anything you've got, give it a go.

Actually, I do. A) the god of the Christian Bible is omnipotent, so he can do whatever he wants. B) He's the one who killed them, so it's stupid to ask if he could have saved them. Of course he could have. He could have not killed them.

Lol. While we're along these lines of thinking, I bet I can create a more believable story than the Bible.

"In the beginning, there was nothing. Then there was everything."

    Woah! No illogical contradictions! Yessss!
