Nah, more like we're upset that you have abandoned all forms of peaceful and mature debating for merely insulting people and getting angry at THEM for not sharing your views, because you think you know more than them. You don't know more than most people about politics, otherwise you wouldn't be a Trump voter.

EDIT: Just popping into my mind was a good response to your "it's a Minecraft forum, therefore I don't need to be civil"; is it really, or is this particular section a bastion for intelligent debate? I understand we have many threads that don't belong here, rather in a more kiddy section of the forums, like that CoD vs Battlefield "debate", but when it comes down to it, this section has been very constructive and productive. Let's not throw away anything merely because it is a Minecraft forum.

 

Awwww man, scrub that last line and I think it's a near-perfect comment. There are some arguably good reasons to vote for Trump, it's just that we think they're not good enough, or the reasons don't resonate with us.

I took time off of forums to peace myself out and I come back to this toxicity. I know that Klutch has been toxic and I'm not going to respond to disrespect with disrespect, nor respect, I'd rather not escalate the conversation for meep's sake. I've had my faults in my argument, he had his, and it is pointless to call others names on a debate thread. That's true, I just don't feel like he is really a good candidate for anyone other than a white male, because he is going out of his way to exclude people of other races and ethnic backgrounds, essentially also insulting the entire female gender.

Im actually not the OP on that statement. I get very very very angry because Im VERY pro gun. I cannot be any more pro gun.

About Hillary and why I will not and cannot vote for her. Believe me Ive tried to find merit in her. But:
Hillary is just SO above the law that she got away with purgery. She lied about several things and the emails proved that the Clinton foundation took money for foreign entities in exchange for political favoritism by the state department now, and after shes elected.
In my opinion, thats just about Treason. She lied through her teeth and when you are a professional liar, It shows. Look at Obamas change in 8 years. They can cover it how they want to but it does not show. Hillary isn't a dumb woman, but neither is Obama and he has passed more executive orders than any other president BECAUSE they're not what people want. Usually you have to go through a system to get things voted in to make sure both sides are alright with it but because he cannot get his way, He acts on corruption. SO I cannot vote for her especially with how anti gun she is.

Dont get me wrong, Im not HAPPY with some of the things Trump says but Im a 1 issue voter and Ill always vote pro gun. Lesser of 2 evils or not, Im not throwing my vote in the wind. We have a broken system that wont allow a 3rd party to win so im going pro gun. It takes a spine to say whats on your mind and he does not care. I commend that because thats what we need in this poop fed economy.

The level of corruption., If you're a GS10 or GS12 that works in the white house and you let info out. If you're caught or even caught TRYING TO COVER IT UP. you would be fired, Put in jail and possibly worse. Thats who you want to vote for? A true leader accepts responsibility for those actions and it says a lot about someones lack of character when you lie through your teeth about it. The Crap with the DNC and Bernie and Benghazi, Hillary just ignores it! Some people resign because of this type of crap and Hillary just ignores it.

Hillary doesn't need to be our next president, not only from a pro gun standpoint, but from an american standpoint. She lacks Honor and courage and just is not a Honorable person and I just cannot get behind that.

I'd be skeptical of his follow-up. Obviously I can't know if the following applies to Klutch. But it seems like many have the following thought-process. Heck, this was exactly how I thought a few years ago. "I'd rather be right, than polite." <-- that was my mantra.

Premise 1) You're allowed to be mean-spirited, so long as you're correct.

Premise 1b) Anyone that wants to you remove the spiteful and inflammatory elements to your comment is too politically correct.

Premise 2) (I believe) I am correct about issue X.

Conclusion: I am allowed to behave as despicably or as nicely as I like towards others on issue X, because (I think) I'm correct.

Any criticism of their behaviour is conflated with 'Political Correctness', as a means to dismiss it. Again, I think the thought-process in play is pretty basic.

Premise 1) Political Correctness is wrong.

Premise 2) (I think) Person X's criticism is Political Correctness.

Conclusion: Person X's criticism is wrong.

This leads to the most foul attitude that I think we've seen evidence of. Where you're allowed to treat your opponent however you like. The debate becomes more about making them look stupid, rather than their ideas. It's all about winning the debate, 'Us V Them' style. I believe you can see this in their posts, where they spend more time trying to make Natsu look bad than trying to make their own ideas look good.

 

Actually, I took the post completely off topic because I cannot stand when people are ignorant about guns but talk like they have a knowledgeable fact base about a topic. As I stated, an opinion is an opinion. If someone doesnt like guns, but knows a lot about them thats 100% fine. But when I see someone making a post about why people dont need semi autos or "snipers" while not even living in thre country of topic. . yes, I have every right to defend a passion. Already responded to this post, actually. Either way, the "nice of you to show up" is obvious sarcasm and intended to discount my opinion because of my past. Healthy attitude towards a debate, and then the "minecraft forum so I don't have to be civil" part. I've already quoted it, just look back at that I suppose.

I find this a quality post summarizing your reasoning so far on this topic. While you do make some good points, it nowhere near outweighs how much you've been belittling people.

Most people who attempt suicide don't actually die from suicide. Guns make it hard for people to get the second chance they need because it makes committing suicide so easy.
