Ill try to explain the process here.
So with your process, and the reason I never liked it in the first place is this.
Scenario A. (cooldown on each block place)
*theirs now a log of every block in every place all with timers, in towns and wild. The amount of lag is tremendous.
Scenario B. (cooldown per break of say, 3 seconds.)
*You now have to wait 3 seconds between each break of every crop. Can still be macroed and abused with 1 crop, on 1 spot.
Now say we go with the better of those 2.
Say you start out with 100 crops. we pay per break and now you have 200 crops.
You expand.
You now break them and have 400 crops.
You expand.
You now have 800 crops.
You expand.
. . . . . . . . . .
The jobs plugin will eventually be paying (whatever the price per break is) for crops that are WORTHLESS. The value goes entirely out the window and it simply becomes a block to make money. place, break, expand, more money. On top of that you're gaining XP and the value per block is now increasing to level 200, (3x the base value).
The way I have set it up will now give you Xp, and Points.
Youll be able to rank up and be the best farmer for farming, as well as spend the points in the /jobs shop, on some pretty cool farming items.
The crops you farm you now bring to the market to sell to the shop, giving you the money and taking the block out of the eco so its not ever expanding. It has a set value so they will never be worthless.
If you want to expand, you dont get paid and you expand, boosting your next payment. Like real farming.
I hope this clears it up.
