I hope staff can recover towns because no one wants to rebuild whole town...

yes maybe the town owners should get a new town and then start from there. we have spent hundreds of hours building our empires

If every previous town owner from all 3 towns worlds got a new one for free, that'd be ridiculous. Everyone would live in their own town, them being the only person.

 

Might also want to warn people that whenever they load up a towny world without the towny plugin, fireprotection is off so a few of the builds might go up in flames.

If the staff have any sense in the minds:

No, you're not getting your town *poofed* in to the new world.
No, you're not getting creative to rebuild your town. People would abuse the hell out of this and dupe items for themselves.
No, you're not getting free stuff because you lost all your progress, get over it. It's a game and if you really are worried about your progress in the future, play single player or put trust in staff that they do cheap backups.

 

No one should get extra money because they owned a town before

 

You building the town in the first place is evidence that you do actually enjoy building towns
