Skype is very frisky and has less usage, with less the potential of TeamSpeak channels.
TeamSpeak is far more universal, doesn't require any adding friends or contacts. You can simply go right in.
This is a simple addition that is quite possible, and quite frankly doesn't take much work.
Nothing has to be programmed.
Just a simple channel ranks permission fixes and any SuperMod or Mod+ accepting a channel request on the forums. Quite simple. Nothing to program or code.
People who use TeamSpeak are often sometimes left with a dilemma.
When we need to converse in private, non of the channels are privately owned to be privately password protected.
When there is a spammer or a annoying individual, we cannot escape alas the player following us into the channels.
With our current system, we only have channels such as the Towns, Beta, Boomo, etc.
Usage of these channels for their in-game server involvement is extremely seldom, if ever seen happen.
Only usage of other channels is to escape to another channel to depart from another audience or group of meepers; which then brings back again to my point.
We need hostable private channels.
I have brought this up during the first moments of the last town hall meeting, and as Cooleys stated; A considerable good idea, I have had yet to make a suggestion, and I am presenting it again on the forums.
These private channels can be rented, bought, or given as a perk of rank upgrade.
This could be as simple as a one-time payment of $5.
This will increase server revenue and also increase TeamSpeak activity and group event/activities.
Another way would be to incorporate a one free channel perk for Elite+, Supreme+, etc.
Public TeamSpeak rules will not apply in private channels. Anything said will be private, and to the channel owners and channel operator's discretion.
Channel Owners will have power to kick players from the channel only, along with the power to assign operators to help moderate and kick; but not the full powers of being a Owner.
Channel descriptions can be edited by Channel Owners, full customizable, and must be appropriate to some degree.
Recording allowed as the channel rules don't prohibit and anything said in the rules would be the ultimatum for all actions and expectations for all who participate and chat in the channel.
This will give freedom, sense of privacy, and allow for more usage of the TeamSpeak channel, while also creating a wile new way to generate revenue/rank donation popularity.
Thank you for reading this suggestions. I hope I can get some positive feedback.
