Hire good pvpers to clean up kit or turn kitpvp into an official minigame called elites vs hackers

I think that, and finding an anti-cheat plugin that doesn't ruin hit detection. I'd rather have to ban hackers constantly than let people's fun in pvp be ruined without good hit detection. However, I guess hackers destroy this, as well, so I dunno. It's a balance, for sure.

The problem with this is that abuse is easy, especially if they are just a pvper promoted.

 

I personally think the kits are quite balanced. I came onto kit on a friend's account named "shadowtemple" and managed to get a 23 kill streak with the standard human kit. Citizens get a good sword and bad armor for those good with a sword and also a damage pot kit which can kill even an ult if used correctly. It doesn't take a lot of skill it just takes finding the right kit for your play style.

 

Number of hackers YOU have caught in one day, not the same amount that people that are in kitpvp all day see constantly.

Also I was used to the very small bans from 5+ months ago that they had back then.

As for giving people money this might be the only thing that gets people to record and report the players in the first place. I don't care if kitpvp becomes a money based reward system solely on banning, as it will teach players to not hack. I don't care if we have 50+ people online at one time that are only there to record hackers for money, as it will FINALY DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM WHEN STAFF CAN'T, is that really such an issue that it has to be ignored like this?

 

Thats why I stated a "mature" player (take that to any extent you want ). Also a punishment does stand for power abuse "le bam hammar"

I swear, if I had a meeble for every staff app I see because people "want to ban the hackers in kitpvp" I'de be richer than Hornemans and Diana combined.

I may not have any minecraft staff experience. But I also see that it has quite a high turn-out rate. i.e. People getting demoted, quitting etc.

Some people give me the impression that they only did it for the title.

I would not mind being able to help out a little more. But that said, I still think the kits are heavily imbalanced. @Builder. Just because you got a kill streak with said beginner kit doesnt mean you can do it again. Whats to say some elite wont come along with his High powered rapid firing bow and tear you a new one?

Or a Ult in his diamond armor and extra soups to simply outlast you in a fight.

The kits are heavily imbalanced. I think if that is fixed. A good portion of the cheating will too.

Halo is a very good example of this.

In the time I have spent in halo. There have been two cheaters. And thats it. ANd even when said person is cheating. They can still be insta killed by anybody at any time.

All weapons are powerful there. "accept the shotgun".

No cheaters because the people dont feel they need to cheat in order to measure up.

 

Nothing against you, but I feel like the bad hit detection is probably a better way to go rather than have these hackers in kit. I work for a different game server that has a similar problem, hit detection is massively off. People still come and play the server though. I really don't mind what happens to kit, I'd just like the constant complaints about hackers in kit to stop.

 

Actually the streak was from 2 exclusives 3 elites and 1 vip not to mention the countless citizens

Potions.... Which cost a lot of meebles to buy. Most drifters dont have that option.

 

Just get 2 or 3 pvp staff that watch pvp and kitpvp. (If you do this make the pvp staff good).

 

You can change you kit when you complete the parkour and grab a kit with 2 potions which will kill an ult kit easily. (standard orc comes with 2 free ones)

 

All I see right now is Empoleon coming out of no where with randomly made up facts just to get rid of hackers when the easiest thing you can do is record them and report.
What's the main argument here? I don't see it anywhere in between these 5 paragraph posts.

 

The main argument here is that there are endless amounts of hackers, barely any staff with enough time to make a dent in the ocean of hackers, once a staff member DOES show up, they only catch 1-2 cheaters and then that staff member is done with kitpvp as they're busy uploading the video of the hackers, then no staff comes into kit for another 1-2 hours. That and the fact that the hackers come on right after one of them gets banned for hacking, right as the staff go into no kitpvp mode basically means that every day dozens upon dozens of kitpvp hackers get away with hacking, makes kitpvp not controlled by people who are good but by the hackers that are on the most and know to leave when a staff member or someone else that can record them gets online.

Or we could simply edit or rework the anti-cheat. It is definitely possible to have a great anti-cheat and good PVP

 

We need SOMETHING to get rid of the hackers, right now because honestly nothing else is working. Also if anyone knows of a good and free video recording program that doesn't make my computer lag let me know!

Let me remind you that you said that "you scrolled through your slots" The first time I said "Macro?" Let me ellaborate what you did in my screen. You were attacking me constabntly then changed to pot , threw it to me instanly then changed to axe weapon instantly. This happened in less than a second. If you scrolled your mouse wheel there is a chance that you go through your slots and even miss the pot. However, You manage to scroll through 1 and 5 easily like there is a barrier between 1-5 that prevents you from scrolling through? Seems legit. By the way.... I shall commend you for turning around stories and make people believe your stupidity. Please, before you talk ill to me make sure that you have something to back up what you are saying not just getting help from your friends to turn around a story and me people look bad. Scrub.

 

Macroing is taking a list of commands and making them executable in a specific order with a single command. I can throw a pot in no time. Does it mean I'm macroing? No. Plus server lag also sometimes squeezes information and makes it appear that something happened faster than it actually did.

 

They don't care about the kits, I've seen 3 or 4 hackers say they travel server to server just to hack for fun. *Ahem Ahem* jucool123 vip and still hacks he has the best kit too imo.
