Many players, even a staff member are using the in-game stock market to exploit millions of meebles.
Here's how:
The U.S. stock markets open at 9:30am EST. The in-game stock market is supposedly "live". This is not possible. I am going to college for Finance, and I use many stock market apps on my phone. All stock simulators that I have always have a 15 minute delay. So, after not playing on Meepcraft for a couple of weeks, suddenly at 9:30am EST tons of people are now using the stock market! Before, it would be empty.
Here is where the cheating and exploiting come into play. Players log in when the stock market opens, then open up their web browser and go to any stock website. They head and find the "Market Gainers". These are stocks that was risen the most since their previous close. Players have a 15 minute window to find out which stocks go up the most. So, the REAL stock market opens at 9:30, but the Meepcraft stock market opens at 9:45. They buy a stock before 9:45, then when 9:45 comes they sell it with 100% guarantee of profit.
I tested this theory out, it worked pretty well.
Yes, that's 35 billion meebles. I started out with about 3.5 million.
This is an extreme example, this stock just happened to go up a ton.
Even Meepcraft's staff members are joining in the fun. Paincake puts all of his 60mil into the market. I thought I took a screenshot from after he sold, but it was more than 62mil. An easy 2mil meebles gained in a few minutes? Seems fishy.
You may think that these players are simply using the stock market as normal, but I promise you this is not the case. These players are clearly and willingly violating the rules. A moderator should know better than this. He should be the one getting this shut down. I found this disgusting.
Also, Please remove that 35 billion from my account and leave me with my original amount of money.
This is not only a bug report, but also a player report.
If anything needs clarified or explained more, please reply below.
Thank you,

It is 30 minutes after the Meepcraft stock market has opened. Not a soul in sight.
Update #2:
My balance has been set back to the original balance.
I owned 94% of the server's total money.
Some serious damage could be done to the economy if this got into the wrong hands.

Achmed thinks that the easiest way to solve this problem is that all the money made from stocks should go to Achmed and he will keep it safe for you.

There's still another way to exploit the stock market that no one has figured out yet, but I'm not telling... -
No the staff did not intend you to be able to make millions on the spot by allowing the stock market to be up at the wrong time.FunGUY, CrazyYoungBro, Dockson and 1 other person like this. -
The stock market opens at 9:30.
The stock market goes live at 9:45.
Now if I get up at 9:30, I can google up how much all the stocks have increased.
I have 15 minutes before the stocks go up or down (like they are supposed to.)
I use up ALL of my money to buy xyz stock, because that stock went up by a meeble.
Now, when 9:45 comes up and the stock actually updates like it's supposed to, now xyz stock has gone up by a meeble.
I have profited lots of my money within 15 minutes.
that's why it's not fair and disabling it for 15 minutes would completely throw away this method.Toostenheimer, _Smarties910_, metr0n0me and 1 other person like this.
