Introduction: Hi there!

My name is Spongeystar, commonly known as Spongey. I’m a 14 year old girl living in New Zealand, currently in my 10th year of school. Most of you know me so I’ll keep my introduction short and sweet.

I have many favourite subjects in school which include Maths, English, Social Studies, Robotics (We program and build robots!) and Physical Education.
Hobbies of mine include playing the piano, learningprogramming, reading and of course, watching Spongebob. Spongebob has been my favourite show for a long time, people may think it’s immature for a 14 year old to watch Spongebob but I don’t think so!
Currently at school I am taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Hilary Award. For those of you who don’t know what it is, it is a course that goes over a year, that teaches you the skills you need to survive outdoors. You go for tramps a few times a year including overnight ones. Aside from that you also do a skill, service and physical section. I am in my first year of doing it and I feel I’ve become more independent.
I joined Meepcraft around late september. When I first came on I felt this was a great server since it was easy to go around and it had parkour. I then hoped into towny and tried to find a town, it only took me seconds to get one. @xtJunior invited me to the town and gave me a plot. (Gee, xt is a good sort)
As the days passed, I learnt many new commands like /g. I started to become active in game and on forums.

Why should you be Helper? As many of you know, I was demoted. I wrote a little summary of why I was demoted so here it is, for those of you who don’t know why:
So basically, I was in Boomo, and there was a glitch where you could earn lots of money. I didn't know about this, so I went to Boomo and got stuck in the void, and had 500 added to my account every second. By the time I finally got out of the void I realised I got 1mill meebles. I felt really bad about this because I really didn't earn it, so I told diana to take it out, and so she did. I'm pretty sure I might've told her the wrong amount to take out, so they might've thought I was tryna keep the money. I really don't know the full story. There were other reasons for my demotion which included me not helping much, I used /g more than /done. I really do feel like I’ve improved and if I am given the chance again, I will make sure I do all modreqs on time. Work before play is what they always say.

Activity: Even though school is on I still think I’m as active as I can be. If I’m not in game, I’m on forums. Since I live in NZ, there aren’t many staff online when it’s 7pm onwards. So I get on and help the people. On forums I’m always on, from checking alerts to browsing threads. As for teamspeak, look below.

Dedication: I’ve been on the server for around 9 months, that may seem a short time but to me it is a lot. This server means lots to me. As soon as I first logged in I felt very loved, everyone welcomed me and such. I try my hardest to make this server an even better place, and if I fail, I will still keep trying, not matter how hard I try.

As many of you know, I was a helper before. Throughout the time of being helper, I’ve learnt many new things such as Prism and doing modreqs. Prism interests me quite alot, it makes me ponder about how it works because you can find out lots from it.

Work ethic: In school, I see myself as a hardworking student, I always hand my work in on time. I may sound like I’m boasting but this is how I think because it motivates me to do better. I recently got my mid year exam marks back and was very suprised when I got 82% for both my english and robotics exams. I also got 97% for my german exam and was very happy. Also, my team recently entered a robocup competition and gained 1st place heading to nationals. I was very proud of my team, teamwork is key. When I used to do modreqs, I had most of the Meepers reply back with a “Thank you so much!” something along those lines. When I got a message like that, a smile comes to my face. They’ve made my day, and I’ve made theirs.

What are your weaknesses? Immaturity - My biggest weakness. I’ve had many people tell me I’m to immature for staff, and to wait longer or to stop being immature, and I know that as a fact. Well I guess we’ve all have been immature at one stage of life, don’t we? I am an immature person but whenever I say the ocassional 'pls' I tell myself 'Stop being immature.'

Teamspeak - Many would have never seen me on teamspeak, if you have, I wouldn't have been talking, just listening. If you haven't checked my thread about teamspeak and I, do so. I try my best to get on teamspeak. Whenever I say a 'Hi' or 'bye' I feel I gain confidence to talk more.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: This app may be short but I'm sure I've packed in the info necessary.

look spongey, I know that you want to be helper again, but I see no improvement whatsoever on your maturity. Every profile page has a comment from you demonstrating your immaturity. I just want to see some real improvement.

your demotion was reasonable but unreasonable. i see you did a little wrong but then again it was a mistake and all that. you really have the potential to be promoted again and I hope you do
