Hi Natsu! I understand your concerns. Just to clarify on a few things you addressed:

1) The reason I compared meep as a "similar server" is because there were many organic players on naturalis and as a result that is the only towny server they knew. By providing another avenue for them to continue play on (it is better to offer something similar than different) it is more likely that they would join. Additionally I stated that "many of our developers will be joining their team" because players like to go to places with pe Ole they are finilar with, and our techs were much loved. Just another technique.

2) I do not exspect a position. Many were likely not aware but Meepcraft is receiving many of naturalis's builds to be used constructively on the server. This is in an effort to not have the builds wasted. Many were built by oldchopper, Miniarch, ninjaroxy, snorbear, and myself. This demonstrates a full effort on behalf of our side to undo any damages that may have been done (negative effects many claim to the server) and positively impact meep, a superior server.

3) The post in no manor was ment to suggest that naturalis was the better server and was thus helping meep as a result. Each server has, and had their differences. It would be ignorant not to recognize this.

Again thank you so much for your critical feedback, this is by no means a defense rather a means of setting the facts straight and hopefully clearing up and misconceptions.

Ok yeah he was staff on Naturalis but come on that server is gone now and plus they mentioned Meep many times to their own players. They tried to help you, Meepcraft, as a server. What can you say about dedication? It's not like he's still staff there and applying. He's purely applying for Meepcraft (Same goes to Roxy). Noah has experience working on another server and he can bring that to Meep and build the server up. He may have been lacking in forum activity and in game activity before but he's showing improvement. Give him some chance, at least for an interview.

Hi Taco, here is a copy of the resignation statement I issued in the staff slack. Unfortunately the public does not have access to that so would have never seen it. It is dated January 22nd. If there is anything else I can help you with please ask.

Edit: If you believe I was staff due to my rank not being removed, that is because it was the end up the server and even then it still takes time to remove the rank. Even on Meepcraft in the past when staff resigned their rank has remained for a day(s).

Wait awhile bro. Even if you're as qualified as your app has stated, you need time to build trust in the community and prove to them that the qualifications in your application are valid. Deinen (and others) have raised valid points about your recent rejoining the server after being an admin on one of our top competing servers, and those concerns will only go away after you've taken the time to reintegrate yourself into the community. Whether you'll need a couple weeks or a couple months is up to your ability to make connections and build trust with others, especially with the staff members that will ultimately decide to accept or deny your application. Furthermore, i'd like to note that the majority of +1s on your app are from people who've seen your previous work as admin on that server, while the people who haven't been on that server seem to barely know you. That should be an indicator to who you have to prove yourself to. By now I would hope that you are aware of the current concerns that the community have regarding your past involvement with Jess's server and are working towards resolving those concerns with the people who matter. That being said, if you're truly here to dedicate yourself to meepcraft in a staff position, you'll have absolutely no problems . Best of luck noahnda.

this, confirms my fair weather fan suspicion. It seems like you only resigned because you knew the server was going downhill, you left no detail as to why you were leaving, which arouses my suspicions. Also, when you dmd me you to talk with me and after i brought up what klitch had said, you said that @Klitch had no idea what he was talking about as well as that his sources were not credible, be that or not I instill a level of trust in all staff members taken, especially klitch considering he's been a very good friend of mine as well as a helpful and needed presence in my staff career.
I dont want to have you accepted just for you to leave and not give a reason as to why, literally 9 months passed and you just said "Peace out girlscout!!"
I am a -1 at this time.

 

Okay but even if you "resigned" why did you still put on Facebook and before you click on the thing to join servers to "join meepcraft.com" makes no sense at all. Even staff on natural is said you didn't butttt okay ✌️

Very presumptuous statement. From my point of view, it seems that you abandoned ship so you didn't have to help clean up.

Funny story, the ship cleaned itself because the server was deleted. In all honesty however that was a very general statement aimed at inviting players to meep, same as stated before.

 

Thank you for your feedback Builder, I would like to say that regardless of whether this application is approved/denied I am not going anywhere and will continue to play on meepcraft. The bottom line for me is helping be a positive addition to the server. Getting denied on a staff app is not something that would make me mysteriously leave, I am fully dedicated. Again thank you for your thoughtful remarks, I hope I can get to better know you!

I resigned when I knew the server was closing, I was there from day one and left the last day. As soon as the announcement that the server was closing was made the daily player count quickly fell to 0, thus my help would not be needed. The reason for me resigning was quite clear to the staff team, the server was being deleted and my help was no longer needed.

Second, I would like to have a chat with you personally to hopefully clear some of the confusion regarding Klitcher up. That was not meant to degrade your trust in him. Rather, considering he does not have access to slack some of the statements I may have said cannot be confirmed. Hopefully we can discuss this because I would not want to have such a fatal misconception. Again, thank you for your feedback and criticism this far.

You are completely right. The particular posts on that thread I felt it was not my place to reply, they were largely aimed at Jess and being her server I felt it not right to intervene. Again, I hope we can chat sometime you seem like a really reasonable and nice guy.
