Helper Application from CaptainGooch

I actually remember when he was a staff. He was one of the best mods this server had. He clearly knows what has to be done. Based on my personal experience with him I can easily say I would be happy to see him on the team.

I think if somebody left because of valid personal reasons. And were at their prime when leaving they should get priority when tey come back. Its not like he was "demoted/fired" and the fact that he did get all the way to super mod clearly speaks volume about his abilities. Specially back then when the requirements were very strict.

Anyone who down votes this app either had no idea who captain is, or is too dumb to even warrant considering their vote. Captain was one of the best supers I knew, and would be a great improvement from the current state of the staff.

I don't think my vote can be satisfied simply by numbers.

Changing vote to a +1. If you do anything to change my mind, I will change my vote. But, according to other people, you were an amazing staff member, and the staff right now could use a person like you, especially your experience. I especially liked the way you responded to my comment. Like Deinen said, you can efficiently do modreqs and help players, and that's all you need (for now) to be a helper. I mean, compared to some of the current staff, I believe you can do good in the helper position. You got the time, and that's what the staff really need.

Nope, never been banned for breaking any rules. I had my IGN CaptainGooch banned because I was concerned that it was compromised; to further expand, this was also around the time staff members were allowed to use nodus to find hackers xraying and such.

Anyways, thanks for the feedback.

 

I dont know you very well, but what others have been telling, you seem pretty good guy. I would love talk or see ya ig, but timezones messes things up...

Fact he has great experience.
Fact he really wants to help.
Fact you could class me as biased.
But fact is I have been on this server long enough to know what attributes captaingooch/dirtycanadian brings to the table.
He was a great staff member. Always took the time to help people in need and gave great advice when needed. He was looked up to and brought the community together.
he is also applying for HELPER!, not mod, admin, owner or SM. you don't need to be vastly experienced to be helper, (which he is) forum activity isn't going to help kids in game much, as the priority to helper is modreqs. Plus its not very hard to become active on forums.
App not the best in the world though.

WE need more helpers in this game to push the server forward. And it really is an easy job that even a chimp could do.

I wont give a score . just common sense will make you realise this lad can do the job.

 

IMO if someone was awesome staff & come back & want to be staff again let them be, if not awesome demote them.

I dont know you but everyone else seems to. You seem very mature & capable of doing the job as deinen said you're capable of doing modreqs & helping players.

+1 capt was really helpful to me in 2013 as an s-mod when I was just starting to be a mayor. Things like that stick and I would love to see the staff title back on you
