I'd still say pursuing the interest to hack into people accounts is morally undesirable, therefore "wrong".

Not to mention asking complete forum strangers on how to exercise your ability to perform an illegal act.

I guess we have different definitions of what constitutes right or wrong

 

Pursuing an idea is what I'm doing, I'm asking everyone what they think I should do which can translate into what they'd do, if they answer like that.

Just because you KNOW how to do something doesn't mean someone will. For example, it'd be easy to attempt robbing a store, would it not? You have the knowledge and power to do so, but will you do it just because you know how? No hopefully not.

You know, the government hires people that know how to hack, it's called being a white hat hacker. Shoot, other companies hire too like Microsoft and they're called blue hat hackers then.

I'm talking about hacking in general also, not just accounts.

I've done nothing wrong, and just because I know how doesn't mean that I will. What's wrong with having a discussion with strangers about it, what will happen?

Please delve into the subject with me further, you seem to know everything about it.
Knowing how to do something isn't morally wrong. Once again, you know how to rob, murder, anything, isn't wrong for KNOWING how just as long as you don't do it.
And you might say "you set up an account and did it so it is wrong" well to save you time I would respond "you know how to murder someone but if you are good then you go to target practice to make yourself better for defending yourself, not to use it to do wrong."

I'm really hoping you're understanding what I'm getting at. My point is, I've done nothing wrong.

 

Ahh so you learned how to hack instagram accounts, got a friend that would let you hack into his, and successfully did it, all for the purpose of asking Meep what they would do if they also knew how. Got it.

@Deljikho and @Deinen are just trying to let you know what would happen if you ever did something like that, I know you're a good kid and wouldnt really consider hacking into accounts of any sort. We all are looking out for you and wouldn't want you to get in big trouble. That's the point they are trying to get to you. And honestly, making a thread about hacking people's accounts? It's scary, and people aren't going to trust you as much if you share that kind of information. However, yes. Hacking is a job. It's a computer coding job, you find hackers around the world and arrest them. It's a good paying job as well. If you are interested in doing that, it's completely fine! You learn a ton about computer engineering/coding. I've been looking into that a little bit. If you have any questions please privately message me or one of the staff members, or if you feel more comfortable talking to your friends, or even here. Please know that we arent going to force you to do anything, we are giving out opinions of what's right and wrong. I hope you can look at our point(s) of view. Thankyou.

Of course, I dont want to do anything bad and I'm not going to. I'm not sharing information on how, and I don't see why I can't discuss it normally, no matter where it is.

I know how to get into a lot of things, just recently Instagram accounts though. I like to make apple scripts and I will be attempting to make an app soon. And no, not for the sake of that, but i can't ask opinions? I know I'm not on trial, but you sure are accusing me of something wrong it seems.

Um, you have an Instagram? There's ton of people that know how to. If you have one and don't see someone saying 'my account got hacked' you aren't following enough people :')

 

I'm not saying that you can't hack them, I'm saying that you weren't the one that figured it out.
You probably used spacelandpark.com or a website like that.
Also, I don't have an Instagram because literally nothing on there is worth actually seeing.
Its just crappy selfies and pictures of people's breakfast.

 

:/ those websites make you do surveys to "unlock account password" which gives them money every time and even if you do a survey it does nothing. That's for about every game hack or any hack website.
And I'm in a group which worked together to figure this out. We're all self taught in everything we do regarding this type of stuff. I have a deal going on with someone on meep, after we've finished they can tell you if I'm legit or not. :| no I'm not doing anything bad so...

 

If a website is asking you to take a survey or give them any personal info of yours, don't do it. Usually, if you do insert any personal info, they will place viruses or hack any personal accounts that you have access to.

 

So I'm supposed to believe that a team of self taught high-school students hacked a major social media corporation, by themselves?
Sure, I bet you have a private jet and live in a penthouse suite in NYC too right?

This isn't something to be proud of at all. This is extremely rude and is extremely immature. You could ruin someone's life with this. If you did this, not only should you be ashamed of yourself. But it's illegal as well.

 

Give me someone's account to hack. Not you. Your friend, I don't know. And I'm not saying a freaking 1mil or something like that, I don't care to cause anything bad to happen, give me someone's account like a friend or something. Tell me their username and take this to skype or something.

Dawn, please please please read what I've been saying. How is this rude? How? He made the account for me to do it on, so HOW is this rude? I very seriously doubt I could ruin my friends life by getting into a test account. Since he gave me consent, it's not illegal. And for more arguments of yours read the other posts which will cover it, because we've already covered the legality issue. I'm doing nothing wrong here.

ON A SIDE NOT I WONT HACK THE ACC, I'm hacking one that someone gave me consent to and they're on meep. If you don't believe them when it's over with then too bad. You will cause so much crap for me.

 

Why someone else's account? I don't have anyone followed on Instagram because I just made the account 5 minutes ago.

 

You made this thread to prove to us that you can do it, now you say you might test it on one of us. You better not do it.

 

Um, I made the thread to ask for opinions. Where do you see me saying LET ME PROVE IT TO YOU. And the person who I'm 'testing it out on' is a friend from meep and were not talking about the issue on the site and they've given me all the rights, and nothing bad will happen.
