Hacked clients explained.

you hacked, you weren't "exploiting a crack on the server" like its the servers fault, exploiting the server is clicking a money button endlessly, exploiting the server is figuring out how to get out of an infected arena, downloading a hack client (yes its no "hacking" in the traditional sense) is you, thinking you are above others because you don't have to work for your succes, you don't have to work for your 40 kill streaks, you don't have to work for your 100 double chests of diamonds, with this mentality, you won't stop hacking, you have to recognize that you intentionally and knowingly broke the rules due to your own laziness.

With the logic of "the interest in charge isn't directly stopping me from doing this, so I should do it," why not murder? the governing body isn't directly stopping you from murdering someone, sure you will get caught and punished, but same goes for hacking, you got caught, and punished, but meep didn't stop you from doing it, so its ok. (Im not compairing hacking minecraft to murdering someone, Im just trying to point out how the logic is flawed)

Is this post defending guns, or bashing hacks? if its bashing hacks I would just add that you were caught with a client.

and, i would not like you referring to me as being lazy and hacking because i didnt work for my stuff. I worked without hacks for every meeble and item i have. The only reason i hacked for one day was to test as i explained in my thread in discussions. I meant to achieve no advantage over players.

anyways I wasn't talking about myself in this thread in what you quoted from me. I was talking general. The definition of exploited is taking full benefit of. I'm not saying its the right thing to do or anything but hacking is exploiting things in a server that have not been patched and give you an advantage over other players, therefore making a benefit greater than that of other players.

 

um it's an analogy. It can work for anything.

Reading how to sow a field doesn't mean you're a great farmer

Listening to classical music doesn't make you a great composer

Watching a piano tutorial doesn't mean you can play the piece perfectly

All these have one thing in common :

You need experience. You can't just say how to do something and expect people to perform perfectly. Sure it may help a bit but it really won't do much unless the person is dedicated enough to learn how to do something

 

I suppose you could have used a texture pack to x-ray, its still lazy and lame though.

Yes, except this anolgy was far to drastic and didn't really apply to what I was saying. Yes somethings you need experience to learn. Simply I just made a source of information so that people could gain Knowles. Not learn to be the best 'hacker' ever or to spot every hacker

 

Dwarf I didn't use a texture pack either and it was not because I'm lazy and want to gain advantage!!! Can you even read what I posted in discussions? I didn't hack for my benefit and I would never do that for advantage on meep. I am all legit on meepcraft since I joined. Just stop talking trash about me on this thread because it is not pertaining to me at all and was not meant to.

 

I just read that thread, and It seems like you were hacking on other servers (Be it where hacks are aloud) and you decided to see if meepcraft would let you hack, then you ask how you got caught, this is not the post of an honest mistake, you seem like you downloaded (several) hacks with the sole purpose of testing them on meep, and then the staff and community are supposed to assume that you would have been like "this hack works here and would let me get free diamonds for dayz, I guess Ill just go un install it because the only reason I installed it was to test", if you had found that it works, you probably would have continued using it, the temptation would be there. Every player wishes they could cheat, and get ahead, thats why glitch exploitation is so common once the glitches are discovered, however these players resist the urge to go download hacks, I can guarantee (I know I would, and I bet a lot of other players would) that if you put a bunch of players who have never cheated before down at a computer with a ton of hacks, they would eventually use them, and thats the thing, you have shown that you will download them, you have shown that you have used them (albeit legally on other servers) so how can the server trust that you were just gonna undownload them? ? ?

I am not a notorious hackerthat would continue using tjem once i see that they work and as I have said I did not use them to get "diamonds for dayz". Im honestly not trolling here, I know your not a cheater, but the problem is, once you have the hacks downloaded anyone would use them, that was my point, thats why you got banned when you were just testing them out, because staff know that almost all the players won't be able to resist the temptations to hack.

 

wait you did NOT just bring back the old ban. Those hacks literally weren't even my fault so you can't use it against me. I was being used then. And all that was was a bit of kit jacks that I could stop my friend from doing even after telling him to stop.

I never flamed you. And did you see my explanation that it wasn't my fault at all on causing the original hacks? It is what I didn't do before. I myself have been legit. That crap was on my friends account that he logged on with
