I was in Catholic school for 10 years before finally, in High School, going to a Public school. There was only ever that one teacher who was that obviously intolerant. The rest pretty much didn't mention it.

Funny enough, that teacher also taught English, and she was only insufferable when teaching Religion. She also adored me.

What I think now ^ Thank you for being more correct in this instance
Back in the day (aka middle school), it wasn't what I thought was wrong, it was what was wrong. (According to the Bible, according to the multitude of Catholics I interacted with) Getting too into my old mindset when writing, I suppose, was the most likely cause of that mishap of wording. That is literally what she said, if paraphrased due to my lack of perfect eidetic memory. I'll admit at this point that there really is no reason for me to have said it like that, considering my current beliefs anyway. Unfortunately, the many years of religious schooling kind of hardwired my brain to have a black and white picture of right and wrong, and it is difficult to stop thinking like that, especially in regards to it.

That statement is as inaccurate as god making the world in 7 days. Here is a list of animals that have been studied and proven to show homosexual tenancies:
    • Beetles
    • Birds
    • Bonobos
    • Bats
    • Dolphins
    • Orangutans
    • Penguins
    • Dragonflys
    • Albatrosses
    • Dogs
    • Cats
    • Lions
Yep, so not just humans. If you wanna learn more, watch this:

so you don't eat shellfish or meat? you also have an objection to girls cutting their shirts or jeans? and you don't ever wear leather and don't ever shave your beard? Wait, I also didn't know you hated the NFL because no one is allowed to work on Sunday.

Actually, the bible is ok with being homosexual. God gave us free will, and being an omnipotent being knew down the road our free will would lead to this. He knew and did it anyway, therefor it must be ok, because he did it.

I am Christian as well. I believe being gay or lesbian is perfectly fine, nothing wrong with it. I read a book, and it had vampires. A girl's best friend turns into a vampire. She buys him a gay/lesbian book, and I quote the quote here; "I was born gay, I can't help it." And, listen to "Take Me To Church - Hozier" it's about being gay. Watch the original music video. The Catholics burn the gay guys at the stake. I am also against eating Chickfila, they use their money to support gay/lesbian relationships' outlaw in Texas.

I am speaking from my heart here. I believe in gay/lesbian rights. So what? What's wrong with loving someone the same sex/gender as you? Because you've read 5 words on paper, means you ultimately believe gay/lesbian relationships should be outlawed? That's sad.

If you've read to here, I appreciate you reading how I feel about gay/lesbian relationships.

I have nothing against this. I know a couple of gay/bisexual/homosexual/lesbian and despite possible discrimination some of them are perfectly like the everyday person :) (I mean it in a good way btw)

Imma put it simple; wat if you love a girl, and she loves you back. You however cannot get married, despite REALLY wanting to, because the government says so. That is how it is for gays. I have friends irl that are openly gay. I dont treat them any differently than i treat my straight friends. Yall need to be more open!

Here's my argument: How does this affect me, and if it does, is it in a positive or negative way? The answer is negative, because all you people are so busy arguing about it and hating each other, it gives me a headache! Gay people should have the same governmental rights as everyone else, because they are gay PEOPLE remember this: "...certain unalienable rights...". However, on the subject of marriage, that is a religious thing, not a governmental thing, and should be decided by religious people. The government can't control that. However, there should be a certain GOVERNMENTAL provision that offers the same rights to homosexual couples as it does to married couples.

Marriage isn't inherently religious. Being married legally can do a lot.

You get married by a priest, so it IS religious, but yes it also offers legal options, so what I'm saying is that there should be (if there isn't already) something that homosexuals can 'have' that provides all the same legal rules and stuff, but it's the church's decision on whether it is actually 'marriage' or not.
