Fall Damage Teleport

IGN: Skwisher
Bug: When a player lands on a ledge that is one block thick, if they take fall damage then they can somethimes teleport through the ledge and onto the next block below it.
Time/Date of Report: 24/12/14
Steps to reproduce: Jump onto a ledge one block thick from a high place.

 

I believe this also occurs with mobs- but they only have to walk onto the block. My zombie villagers were glitching out through some blocks so they died ;-;

 

What was the server like when this happened to you last? Was it laggy?

 

I've tried for about an hour, I cannot seem to replicate this. As Abby suggested, the most likely culprit is lag, which can cause things much like this to happen with blocks, and block glitching.

 

Go to /pwarp twerk, go underground, and jump from the bridges to each other. You will glitch down into the ground if close enough. (This is an extreme version of this glitch).

BTW, this is probably just anti-cheat. I think it is time to let it go.

 

Happens to me sometimes when I try to parkour over a pit pr ravine. I jump, reach the block and then after a millisecond it teleports me to the bottom of the pit.

 

This happens to other players around me when it lags a ton. I've glitched, but stood still, held shift and walked forward, etc.

This is not caused by player lag. It has already been reported to Onis and he knows what the issue is.

To add on to this, it processes it as a teleport, making /back go to where the teleport occurred.
