LOL well done UK, this is gonna end in another Scotland referendum to leave the UK and remain in the EU. No way Scotland is gonna leave the EU since that's where they get their loans.

Funny, the exact opposite of this happened. Northern Ireland voted in and that is what opens the doors for them to leave the uk.

@to all of you who think our economy is gonna fail
That always happens if you leave the EU. It'll go back to usual in a month or two.

Very interesting times. We're possibly watching the slow dissolution of a 300 year old nation. (UK)

Umm, they left the EU, not split up...

And even though Scotland will probably leave someday, that's hardly a new thing.

Scotland will most definitely hold another vote to leave the UK, as well as being a good possibility with North Ireland.

My point still stands, we're possibly watching the slow dissolution of the United Kingdom.

Yep. But that didn't really come from leaving the EU.
True, but not because of the EU.

Idk, it seemed like you were pinning this breakup of the UK on Brexit.

The UK leaving the EU is a great motivation for the renewed calls within Scotland to leave the UK. To such an extent that immediately after the UK referendum was decided, Scotland began calling for their own.

Scotland may or may not have left if the UK remained in the EU. However, it is now far far more likely they will leave because of it.

I just find it very interesting that in my lifetime, we could be seeing the slow breakup of a national entity that has existed for hundreds and hundreds of years.

I wouldn't necessarily trust aljazeera... but that makes sense.
Lol me too. Of course, you know that Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times."
