Okay, maybe I misinterpreted some of what you said, but what does the WBC have anything to do with communism? If it were up to them, they would turn this nation into a theocracy. I jumped in this debate a bit late, so I guess I'm missing some points here.

I'm a bit confused as well now...

Lol, it was an analogy. The WBC isn't communist (I hope).

While I can understand and respect your ideas without agreeing with them, one must admit your party does a pretty poor job of representing itself. I mean, Sarah Palin. The GOP is largely a laughing stop because the ones able to make mature and interesting arguments and counterarguments are being drowned out by those that make your side look dumb.

You are correct, the two party system is inherently flawed. I was glad when Ron Paul came around and actually brought some hope of a "third-party", although in the end they were also hi-jacked by the wingnuts. This time around I am drawn to Bernie Sanders because he shares a lot of core virtues that Ron Paul did.

Both of them have time and time again lived in example of the very ideology they voice. For example, Ron Paul generally disagrees with Medicaid because literally and constitutionally, the Federal government lacks the power to do such things. However, Ron Paul as a doctor, has performed many surgeries worked out by payment plans, or if the patient that was destitute, free. The flaw in this thinking is that not everyone is like Mr Paul, and for every 1 person who has a shred of altruism, 100 people will lack just that.

The flaw in constitutionalism is that there is no real precedent for it. With a sense of strict constitutionalism, we would not have the Louisiana purchase, for example. The core of our government has been build, we cannot realistically go back 200 years. But the attraction is he was a candidate who stood for something, outside the usual corruption of DC. Outside of the corruption of state governments as well.

Which corruption has existed in our government since I can assume before it even began. There was intrigue and scandal when we were just a confederation. We, as a country, also hold many notable examples of corruption - the Democratic machine of Chicago comes to mind.

But the issue today, and I have to assume always, is the voters are a seperation of state which has truly failed at it's job since inception. We don't care about the long term, seeking to survive today. We need to learn to figure out what these politicians are doing, and hold them accountable. You realize more damaging to the country than a bad president are things such as gerrymandering that goes on every decade; or that some politicians can run for seats of power with no actual competition? Or that some of those only look out for themselves, or for the future as they join lobby firms and think tanks.

The entire discussion is moot because most Americans don't even care about anything the system. They think voting for a President is doing their job.

I believe that is checkmate :)
Yeah. I just wish everyone would shut up, and get out of my life. A third party would be great. We've already got Stupid Left and Stupid Right, let's try to go for GTFO of my life Middle.

Ik. And most don't actually care about the policies, as evidenced by a poll in which people still voted for Obama because of his policies, even when they were switched with McCain's. Idiots.

That is what fox news does, so apparently it is difficult to start a third party.

Trump is a disaster. Fortunately he is dropping in polls the more time goes on. So hopefully either Rand Paul Or Dr. Ben Carson will take his place. Yet, Hillary scares me as much as he does. We have two disastrous likely candidates on both sides. Both of them are just for themselves and nobody else.

    GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Donald Trump graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968, with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and anthropology. Mensa doesn't accept SAT scores from after 1994. However Mr Trump was a student at Wharton when it was possible to derive an accurate IQ core from known SAT scores. Given the usual requirements for admission to a top school like Wharton, I estimate that Mr. Trump has a 156 IQ at the minimum.
The standard description of this level of intelligence is “Genius
    – Exception intellectual ability and capable of looking beyond known facts.” However, the percentile rating is more revealing than the raw score. A 156 IQ is at the 99.9905490555 percentile. That means that Donald Trump is smarter than 99.99 percent of the people on planet earth. Not only does Trump qualify for membership in Mensabut he could join the Triple Nine Society.~
