Anyways, Donald Trump will run this country into the ground period. I hate him and Hillary. Hillary has 1 foot in jail for a real estate scandal and other offenses so she is screwed. So Bernie is my next best bet and as I read into it I like him more and more sooo ya.

Donald Trump will kill us in foreign relations! He is a racist and will piss off every god damn country he can and already probably has. I don't want that man representing our country it's not fair to the people who want to see relations bloom. We need someone to fix what other presidents screwed up on and Donald Trump is not the man to do that.

 

TIL a lot of young people are still blindly patriotic Nationalists. Sad to see. I'm loyal to good ideas, not to the arbitrary country in which I was born.

Lost are the days of the pursuit for freedom. The NSA is enough to demonstrate that.

It's no longer a secular nation, where people keep their religion to themselves. Instead, we have many prominent Republican nutjobs publicly trying to create a Chrsitian-ISIS.

It's has incredibly high rates of income inequality, and it isn't at the forefront of technology and science like it once was.

The US is not a great nation, any more.

Many people are quite stupid, and if you didn't know this, THAT IS ALMOST PURE PROPOGANDA. And as I said eariler, Obama is not a perfect president, only a bit above average. The persident is not all powerful, he is not a dictator. Obama has tried to do so many things that too many others are opposed to, and the only way to make some of it pass is to make deals in this manner ''I have it my way on thing A, and you'll have it your way on thing B''. That is how the politics work. And also, you need to keep in mind that he is a politician, so you need to learn the diffrence between what they say and what it means. If a politician says ''I will do that'' it means I will try to do that, and my goal is to make as many of these things achieved as possible.

With the Obamacare he didn't really get to make it as he wanted, and he eventually had no chance to make it happen as he wanted to. So the version of it that went on a vote wasn't really good enough, and therfore he voted against it. This makes completely sense, in the political world.

Another thing you need to know is that pretty much all mass media in the US is filled with bullshit when it comes to politics, that you can't use them as credible sources at all when it comes to politics.

While communism does branch off of the socialistic ideology, it's like saying that Westboro Baptist is Christianity.

Given most of our most valuable / powerful allies lean quite towards socialism. Maybe the nations that have existed for thousands of years have something right.

 

As I live in a socialistic country, it actually came as a shock when I found out that comunism was a part of socialsim. I initially thought that it was a combination of a capitalistic society where the state replace the big corporations, that also had the socialistic values of sharing with others.

Income inequality... That's called capitalism. And that's true. I wish we would stick some of the budget wasted on military and welfare into science and learning.

Yup. It's a political system in which the country takes care of the people.

Socialism in Europe came about after WWI, and if what you're saying is true, we should be like the Middle East, which is also known as the cradle of civilization.

It's a little more complicated than that. Communism is a political ideal best summed up as: "To each according to his needs, from each according to his ability.". Socialism is where the government takes care of the people (education, welfare, etc.) Imagine having your college tuition payed by tax dollars, and realize you will be paying student loans for the rest of your life.

Communism wasn't a part of Socialism. It's the other way around. Just like with the WBC and Christianity example.

Communism is like Socialism on crack, with a lot of Conservative values.

Because they want to get elected, rather than abide by the law/constitution. Not to mention, the Supreme Court have a history of having a very poor understanding of the Constitution. The corruption runs deep, too.
